JDo217 Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 I live two hours away from SF GAdv and my local McDonald's has discount buy one get one free tickets. But I'm planning on going to SFNE next week and it's a 3 hour drive. I'm not going to find the buy one get on free tickets around here obviously. If I stopped at a McDonald's around there, would we be able to get some coupons? Any people who go to SFNE regularly want to shed some light on this? Also, I and the group I'm going with are all in-coming college students and we really don't want to spend that much money in the park, what with the over-priced food and such. Any tips other than "bring lunch/dinner with you"? I'm receptive to that but I know most of my friends won't be
fatdaddy Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Single out the weakest member of your group and eat him, food issue solved.
thrillrider Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Remember, there are some great discounts for CLUB TPR ,members in the membership benefits section. Check that out first.
JDo217 Posted June 19, 2010 Author Posted June 19, 2010 ^Oh wow, thanks for that - I didn't even know about club TPR. I checked out the deal for SFNE and it's $15.99 off general admission. If I buy tickets directly from the sixflags website, I would save $10/ticket. But I think the $40 membership fee offsets the discounts. I know Club TPR might be better in the long run but usually, I can find equivalent deals at local stores and stuff (ie the buy one get on free at mcdonalds, etc). I think I'll wait a little longer before deciding what to do. Someone on TPR must have some idea about places offering coupon deals. Ordering through sixflags.com wouldn't be the end of the world - I just want to make sure I won't buy too soon and regret it when I find a better deal later ^^ Sadly, that would probably be me then they wouldn't have anyone to drive back
