OzCatter Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 I am having a horrible time deciding where to go next summer, my mom will be pulling in $150 grand, and my dad $70 grand by then, so $200 grand family. I have several ideas. Florida/Georgia/Myrtle Beach Trip Cali/Vegas Trip New York Trip (Last on my list) England Trip (First on my list) I want the England trip to happen, but it's going to be hard persuading my family so which would you take? FL or CA? -Cal
SonOfBeastSucks Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 I have been to both FL and CA. I think I would, just by a little, reccomend CA. It has more of a variety to see, HOWEVER, park- wise, which is probably one of your biggest concerns I'm sure, is actualy hands down FL. Disney is bigger, I wasn't impressed the least with SFMM. KBF was "okay", and I didn't get a chance to go to Universal. USF/ IOA are both fun, as is BGT (best coasters in FL) and all that. It is a hard desicion, just type back the areas that you would be going to in both places so I can help you a little more. I do not reccomend NYC for a "vacation", especialy if you already live in a big city. Also, SFOG is one of the nicer SF parks and Mrytle Beach is a REALLY fun area.
What Now Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 You can do quite a bit for $200k. You could probably do all those trips for that amount. My family went to England (for a month) for about $20,000. We didn't stay in the fanciest hotels in Britten, but we didn't stay in Pontins either.
