Kingsislandfreak Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I am saving money for 5 Platinum passes I would get 77 credits with the parks that I could get my parents to drive to. Motels and Hotels we could sleep in.
Carnage Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Add up the cost of admission + parking at all the parks you plan to go to. If the cost of admission + parking at all those parks is more then the cost of a platinum pass, then get one. If the total cost is less then don't get platinum.
jray21 Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Ok, so this is probably wayyyyyyyyyy to late, but ClubTPR could be another way to go.
sixflagsguy5 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Add up what you would actually pay for admission. Some parks offer discounted admission if you buy online. Also, factor in the fraction that you would pay for parking. If you'd go with 3 other people you'd only pay $2.50. Also, only count the parks you could go to for sure. If you know there's only a small probability that you would make it to Canada's Wonderland then you probably shouldn't count it. I've had Cedar Fair platinum passes twice and they both paid off, but I also went to a ton of Cedar Fair parks and do not live near one.
jray21 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 ^ Don't forget to check the Club TPR list! Paying for Club TPR, and then visiting a bunch of Cedar Fair parks may be a lot cheaper.
