sheepishdogg Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I have a wooden model of the Phoenix coaster that I need to get rid of. I would hate for it to be destroyed but I am moving and have nowhere for it to go due to it's large size. It's about 5ft long. This is around 10 years old and is not in perfect condition but I think the only major issues are some of the railing is broken and it's quite dusty/dirty. It also has chasing lights but I'm not sure if they work anymore. I can provide photos of the actual model to anyone who is interested, but here is the site it was purchased from and you can take a look at another Phoenix model that he built - http://www.rollercoastermodels.com/phoenix.html The one I have is almost exactly like that. I assume it will cost well over $100 to ship, but other than that I have no clue what to ask for it. If anyone is interested I guess we can discuss a price? I'm not looking to make a huge profit here, I just want to get rid of it :]
DBru Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I don't quite have the room (or money, probably) for this right now, but I just thought I'd let you know that, if your model looks anything like the one in the link, GREAT WORK!
sheepishdogg Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 It does look like the one in the link, cause it was built by the same person.
dmaxsba2408 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 As much as I would like to have it I have no place to put it, however it might do you some good to put up your location. Maybe someone near where you are might like to have it and that would really save money on shipping. Hope someone will take it off you hands be a shame to toss it in the garbage.
sheepishdogg Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 I thought about putting my location but I'm about 3 hours from the nearest major city. Although, if someone really wants to come and get it to save on shipping I live in Abilene, Texas
