Jonathan Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 http://www.jonathan-hawkins.net/trailoffears.wmv There is a POV video I put together of Trail of Fears, the signature ride in my WonderWood park. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out!
coasterdude5 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 The park, wow! It was amazing, the video was good too but it would've been nice to see some other views of it. But that's just my opinion. The coaster was awesome.
Jonathan Posted July 29, 2005 Author Posted July 29, 2005 Yeah, I would like to make a video highlighting the whole park, but it's hard to get good video because it takes so long to render it using the in-game tool. To get the POV I just left it running while I was out of the house, and when I came back I had 13 minutes of completed video ready for me, and I cut the POV out of it.
haydawg149 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 WOW Im suprised you didnt use Hades drop out of the staion. (ALMOST exactly the same thing) You should of just used the name too . . .
MontuMan11 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 I loved the video. How did you get the cars, parking lot, lights below tunnel, and the mist you run through below the tunnel?
Jonathan Posted August 5, 2005 Author Posted August 5, 2005 The parking lot is just regular land with the asphalt coloring. The cars are scenery objects included with the game; same goes for the misters in the tunnel. The lights on the track are activated by default whenever you make a coaster underground, and you can select what color you want them, or turn them off.
J man Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 That's a cool ride, I would ride it if it was real. What's the name of the song you used in the video?
Jonathan Posted August 6, 2005 Author Posted August 6, 2005 Here is another video from my WonderWood park: http://www.jonathan-hawkins.net/excavator.wmv Excavator is a terrain mine train coaster. And yes, I know that I spelled excavator wrong in the video. :o
