And what better day to document than me and my (Non-Posting) brother's trip to the 2009 West Coast Bash! First off, I'd like to thank Robb & Elissa and SFMM for an amazing event. I'd also like to thank 24 and XII for putting up with us and not running away screaming. Anyway, On to the trip! *Clears throat* Our trip started with a 5 hour drive to Valencia from our house in Las Vegas. Luckly, We had a Portable DVD player with a Back To The Future marathon all the way there. Ryan must be jealous. Anyway, After a night in Valencia's Residence Inn, We arive! ...I REALLY love ERT! After I rode Tatsu, I went to Goliath only to find this memorable sight. NO ONE THERE! I boarded the train in the back row right when 5 other people, including my brother, came and boarded the train. I had an Amazing, airtime-filled ride on Goliath, but when we got back, only two people were in line for the front! so we all got to go one more time without getting off! I could of stayed on for a third time, but Blacking out in the helix caused me to get off and go check on X2. It wasn't open, So I rode Viper to pass the time. It was running REALLY good that day! The only pain was in the Batwing! Anyway, I did another X2 check, Still closed! I rode Viper AGAIN...then, I saw X2 test while on Viper's lift. But wait! It has PEOPLE on it! So after that ride on Viper, I ran as fast as my 14 year old legs could carry me! I love ERT! *IGNORE THE BLOB OF DEATH IN THE PICTURE! IF YOU QUESTION IT, YOU WILL DIE!* Anyway, ERT started with a quick run on Revolution, then a ride on Tatsu. But a magic moment occured in the station of the flying beast... The sun came out! EVERYONE cheered like they won the lottery! Myself included. Shortly after, I had my best ride on Tatsu ever! We arrive at Magic Mountain only to have our spirits destroyed by rain. But they quickly came back when Niel stepped on a magic planter and told us that ERT will continue but Deja Vu, Ninja will not be included and X2 is being worked on and should open halfway through ERT. This picture was just a test. So ignore it unless you like pictures of Robb reaching into a bag to get...uhhh..."Stuff" This was taken by accident. But it is still cool...Right? Darn it! So Close! This is when I met Cody (24), Kevin (XII), and Cody #2 (Can't remember username! Sorry Cody!) I spent most of the day with them. After my ride on X2, I realized with horror that I was 10 minutes late to the Terminator tour! And I was across the park! So I ran as fast as I could (Which isn't fast at all!) to Terminator. Only to find out that it ended! so I decided to miss the first 10 minutes of lunch for the 11:15 tour. In my frustration, I finally got the Deja Vu credit! Yay! Train Goodness! TV's make every ride awesome! Yay! It's open! Then it was time to meet in the theater for Q&A followed by a whole lotta coasters for 2 hours! Night ERT was insane! I got on 18 coaster rides in 2 hours! Plus, They shut off the lights for us! The only downside was me getting stuck on Tatsu for 20 minutes. But other than that, it rocked! Nothing is better than hanging out with TPR friends like Cody, Cody and Kevin while riding as much as you can. I miss the bash already but I hope to get out there next year. Ride count! Revolution- 1 Tatsu-3 Goliath-4 Viper-2 X2-1 Deja Vu- 2 Scream-3 Riddler's Revenge-3 Ninja-1 Canyon Blaster-2 (You read that right.) Batman-2 Colossus-1 Thank you SFMM. Thank you Robb & Elissa and Thank you 24 and XII for making this the best day of my life! THis is Headcheez, Signing off and going to bed. (Holy S**T! I spent 2 hours doing this!) Robb trying to organize a group photo of 700+ people! Superman Re-Opened later, but with crappy operations. so I didn't ride. The official shirt of the West Coast Bash 2009! *Kicks desk repeatedly* It was really fun! I prefer Medusa east, but Scream still makes my Top Ten. After we finished the scavenger hunt, It was time to marathon Scream. Colossus's line was longer than Scream's! Here is the CLOSED Superman! "Goliath, quit trying! You will never be as cool as Big Mike." "Now what?" This is when we were looking for the plaque that was covered by a trash can by demons from Mars. *coughteam30cough* YES! PERFECTLY SYMMETRICAL! Mr. Six: "What have I done to deserve this?" Signature shot! This one took us FOREVER to figure out. Good shot. But it was taken to early! Us trying to work out one of the many, many puzzles. Seriously, It was hard! In a good way with the exeption of Team 30's stunt with the Trash Can! Mr. Six doing his thing! And we are off in the search for the new 500-foot-inverted-stand-up-woodie-shuttle. We never found it. Me and my brother teamed up with Kevin and the 2 Codys to form Team 09 of the scavenger hunt. Here, we do the trivia portion of it. It was around this time where we wrote our Q&A questions on index cards. Mine was "What is the capital of Norway?" Sexy shot of Goliath! This painting is titled: People consuming edible products. Mr. Six has arrived! Yay! (Note! Go to XII's trip report and see me get funky with the old guy!) Robb WAS announcing the scavenger hunt, Until I went into Paperazzi mode and ran up to him, took this picture, and ran away before he could say anything. After that, It was time for lunch! It tasted great! The only downside is, I missed the Hail. Ahhhhh, A boy and his wood. Sky Tower, And more Terminator goodness! Deja Vu never ran in the entire 15 minute tour. Bad operations or Breakdown. You Decide! Tim told us several stats about the ride. Most of which, I can't remember. This is why I love RCDB! Tim , God of all things SFMM, Arrived with massive fanfare! "Can we have some Port-A-Potty ERT?" All I can say is WOW! I can't wait to ride this! Oh Yeah! MOTION BLUR!!!! OMG!!!!! HEADCHEEZ Posted March 27, 2009 Author Share Posted March 27, 2009 I have an HQ camera in my room but my mom wouldn't let me bring it because she was convinced I would drop it.
