Renovations on the Phantom's Revenge

Well, i'm not sure 100% at all, but the latest rumors are that Phantom's Revenge, at my home park of Kennywood, is being re-tracked, from the first drop to 1/8 of the way down the second, with new Morgan track.

 

Pictures i found show new Morgan track being stored outside of Kennywood, and is a light greenish color, just like the Phantom's Revenge, and newer pics show the old Arrow track being removed of the support structure of the first drop; the pics are below.

I'm not sure what i think of this; i think it will look very nice, but the first drop has always been perfectly smooth for me, and i just think, why fix something that's not broken? I'd like to hear what you all have to say.
