mcjaco Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 So, I've decided to take a break from my EPCOT Recreation. It's such an involved project, it gets seriously tedious. However, last night I went in to just mess around in Campaign mode, and every scenario was the same. A blank, desert brown square with nothing in it. I couldn't do anything. Has anyone had this happen before? I'm assuming that maybe my campaign files got corrupted.
jason10 Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 I've had this issue before. Exactly the same, every campaign a blank desert square! I have no idea how I fixed. I think that in time it fixed itself (somehow ) but I honestly can't help you. At least you know you're not alone with the problem. I hope someone else can help! Sorry... -Jason-
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 I've never experienced this because I hate the campaign mode however, I suggest you either give it a few days OR, scan the campaign files. That might not have anything to do with it but it's worth a try. It could be your disc I guess..... but I doubt that. Someone of your age should know how to look after Discs. So other than that I don't know what else to suggest. Sorry. Good luck, I hope you solve your problem.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 ^By campaign files, you mean the career files? Or something else? Just wondering.
mcjaco Posted November 7, 2008 Author Posted November 7, 2008 In the file structure, there's files called Campaign (followed by 000, 001, etc). I'm assuming that what he's talking about. I deleted those last night thinking RCT might need to rebuild them, and at this point I have to start over anyway. I didn't test it yet though, I got caught up doing work on the TPR Park Index.
mcjaco Posted November 10, 2008 Author Posted November 10, 2008 Just as an update, I basically made copies of all my park, scenario and scenery folders, and reinstalled RCT. That was the only thing that fixed it.
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 ^ Quite alot of the time that's the only solution. Good luck with your EPCOT recreation!
