Supertomcat Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 My wife and I are travelling to the US in October, from Australia, and plan on hitting a few parks. We know it is a bad time of the year, most parks only open on weekends - but it is polar bear season in Churchill, Canada- a much higher priority!!! We start at Cedar Point (Friday and Saturday) and then want to go to either Kings Island or Six Flags America on the Sunday - both parks are only open for eight hours. (we may even consider Busch Gardens Europe if anyone thinks it is worth it.) We are going to Washington after this - then off to Six Flags Great Adventure and maybe Magic Mountain at the very end of our trip before we head back Down Under!. We both love more speed and g-forces more than nostalgia and wooden coasters. It is just the two of us! If it is relevant, we were in the US two years ago on our honeymoon and went to Cedar Point, Knott’s Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Disneyland, both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, both Seaworlds, Disneyworld and Busch Gardens Tampa - (not sure how many of these have similar rides – eg. we've hear Sheikra at Busch Gardens Tampa is similar to one at Busch Gardens Europe) Thanks in advance
ParkTrips Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Busch Gardens. Its a hundred times better than Six Flags America and PKI combined. All steel coasters, and they are all really good.
TheRapidsNerd Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 ^&^^ Ditto. You just can't go wrong with Busch.
