The last time I went was end of January of this year on a Wed/Thrus. It was so nice. Everything was practically a walk on. Thrus was a little more busier though. How are the lines on a Mon/Tues in July? - for everything except Toy Story Mania I don't really care to go on. I'll probabablly be getting there at 8 & I am staying until 12am. Any good strategies/advice?

Honestly, the month of July is all around busy. Mondays and Tuesdays are probably a little slower so if you definately want to go in July, those are probably the best days. I go a lot on Sundays cause my pass isn't good Saturdays and I love it. There are hardly ever any long lines. So any of those 3 days should be pretty safe for you. Keep in mind, the line for Splash Mountain is NEVER short. I don't know know why, but it's usually longer than Space Mountain. Have fun!

Honestly, Splash Mountain is hard to figure in the summer but yes, usually between 10 - 11pm is pretty good. On Friday nights I have walked on during that time. Usually at night the lines are pretty short, especially if you go on during the fireworks or Fantasmic. Space Mountain can get down to like 30 minutes or less sometimes. Watch out for Indiana Jones though. Maybe it's because of the new movie....the last time I went which was in June, at 11 at night the line was 75 minutes!!!!

During the day, the line should be fairly short though. Most rides should be well below 45 minutes. Some rides like Pirates and the Haunted Mansion will probably we about 5 to 10 minutes. Peter Pan is always long though...especially at night for some reason.

I wont lie, summer is brutal for Disneyland but I'd say go early in the morning or stay very late and the line should be ok for ya! Don't forget, Fastpasses are your friend!

Lets say I get a fast pass for Space Mountain at 8am before I ride & it says a return between 10-11. I would like to use my fast pass later in the day after it has expired. Could I do that?

^Yes you can, in fact I recommend getting fastpasses for Space and Indy as soon as you get there and as soon as you can get another fastpass. Splash mountain you can actually use the single rider line during the day and not have to wait long. If you want to do Peter Pan, I suggest heading there first and getting the Space fast pass next as the line can build fast and stay long all day and night.

You can also get fastpasses at DCA at the same time you have some for Disneyland (even if your disneyland ticket says you still have to wait to get another fastpass) I recommend getting one for Soarin' first thing, Tower next, and all the other rides that offer it also have single rider lines (very useful on California Screamin' and Grizzly, especially if it's hot and the lines are long)

I never tried that but good to know! In the summers you absolutely have to fastpass the good rides. Especially Indy! Splash Mountain too though.
