TheRealTinkerbell Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 http://www.wired.com/culture/lifestyle/multimedia/2008/06/gallery_roller_coasters?slide=1&slideView=5 I thought it should be shared.
Kennyweird Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 I don't know if we can really call June 16 the anniversary of the coaster. Some would argue that the French-built Les Montagnes Russes à Belleville or the Mauch Chunck Switchback Railroad was the first coaster.
chmilo24 Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Wow. I'm surprised that they had BonBon Land and Ocean Park on there. Usally these articals are a countdown of the most overrated coasters on earth, but it is nice to see something else for a change.
haux Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 These articles are all the same. Whether it's on Wired or About.com or MSN.com, there's nothing new or really interesting. They show case tall, fast and weird coasters. These sites probably have these already typed up for summer and just replace the name and stats when a new coaster comes out.
