california screamin Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Whenver I come on here, it always seems like there is alot of Disneyland "Hate" I've always wondered why this is... I've been to both WDW and DLR, and I find DLR to be far superior. First off, Disneyland park is the original. I feel that The Magic Kindgdom in Florida simply cannot capture the Magic that is the californian park. Disney World has a much more artificial and spaced out feek whereas Disneyland has a more intimate, traditional feel. The trees and vegetation are much more mature and dominate the view, and the pedestrian areas and walkways are smaller and have a more varied gradation. It's widely known that most versions of shared attractions are indeed superior at Disneyland. Pirates is almost double the length of Florida's. Florida doesn't have Indiana Jones or Matterhorn. Space mountain in California is without a doubt superior when compared to it's cousin in Florida. So, I'm just wondering what your opinion is on all of this?
Wes Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 This topic has been discussed many times, and both Elissa and Robb have given their opinions (they prefer WDW). Here's some of the threads that you should check out. Please remember to do a search before making a new topic, especially one as common as this. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=505 (This one has Elissa's opinion on page 1, and Robb's on page 2) http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21507 http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39482
SharkTums Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 LOL...and why bother asking for our opinion when you've already stated so many things as fact!
