pmlondon Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 I have joined the CoastersWorld meeting last saturday in Germany precisely at Tripsdrill and as soon I arrived I learnt the surprising arrangement of an Exclusive Ride Time on Mammut thanks to Jean-Luc for negociating. Coming to this meeting just came out of the blue as I took a reservation for the hotel only 5 days before. My plane from London landed at 9:30 in Frankfurt and I still had to drive for 2 hours and a half before reaching the park. Everyone else had already gone to Europa Park on Friday but it didn't took long to break the ice as i had met Benj Nairolf and Remi and his father in Thorpe and Alton before. Ok now it's time to see how it looks : The photos (courtesy from Vincent) appear from the most recent to the first, sorry about that, it's my first post on TPR. It's fixed now, thanks to the admin who did it. I will come back later with more pics from Damien this time. no worries the train is not running... head chopper curved drop into the tunnel this is it the ERt can begin now the management where continuing the test only before the park close more tests the track at one point the ride was closed, an empty train ready to drop the lift CoastersWorld in the train what a structure nearly there looks like new... pmlondon Posted May 15, 2008 Author Share Posted May 15, 2008 If I remember well we must have had at least 6 rides during the ERT, some non members of CoastersWorld took advantage and came with us, fair enough, the ride was closed for a long time and we where only 19 hence there was some space free. We had as well an ERT on EGF on Sunday, obviously this is not a first but it was a landmark and a wonderful experience. I only wonder how it was prior to the trims, my thought would be that it is a "suggestion" of Intamin to diminish the maintenance costs. The pictures are quite self explenatory, they had been taken by Jeremy and Kevin. R3EMII Again, best seat on the train R3EMII, Mikl and ecoaster trying to hide Me me me, I know, sorry for being the best looking... Again PM, Christophe, Isabelle Isabelle, Fabien, Kevin Kevin, Nairolf, Gege Nairolf, Benj, Gege and Exos a serie of the team but we are talking about EGF on this post...
