San Gennero Feast TR (No Photos)

Me, My Brother, And my Aunt all went to the San Gennaro feast on May 10. It is an annual Carnival/Food feast in May. So, we walked up to the entrance and paid the $30 needed for all of us to get in. THEN we had to buy the all day ride pass which is $75 in total!

 

Once we were in, Our first ride was SUPPOSED To be the 250 foot ejection seat, But they were up-charging it for $30 Dollars per person! After a while of complaining, We went on a giant slide, Onto a dragon Wagon (Credit #15), Through a funhouse, And the Tilt-A-Whirl. My brother got so sick on the Tilt-A-Whirl that he almost threw up. Causing him to not ride anything for the rest of the day. I have a video of this, but I don't know how to upload it to the forum.

 

After that ordeal passed, I went to the Ring Of Fire. But they would not let me go on alone and I spent 10 minutes asking for a riding buddy, I finally got one. So I hopped in, and the lap bar got stuck in one click. SO I asked for help with it, and they said "It's Supposed to be like that!" Even though the people behind me had theirs so tight, Their legs hurt. So I asked to get off. They said no and started the ride before I had a chance to reply. IT WAS THE MOST TERRIFYING THING I HAVE EVER DONE! I NEARLY FELL OUT! I'm sorry about the All Caps. Anyway, I actually fell out when we were held upside-down. Luckily there was a ceiling. And after I got off, They said it was MY fault the restraint got stuck "because I refused to pull it down all the way!"

 

After the Ring Of Danger ended, Me and my aunt did the Bumper Cars. And the Kite-Flyer (I don't remember the actual name). We both loved it!

THen we went through Two fun-houses. After that, I went on my first Gravitron with a my random best friend for 28 seconds. It was INSANE! I thought my body was being flattened to mush!

 

After that, I went on Three more rides. First, A Wacky Worm, No Big Deal. Except its credit #16. Then I went on the Dizzy Dragons. I spun the ride so fast that I was thrown from side to side causing countless bruises. I came off ready to puke. Then my last ride of the day was the Orbitron. A very insane ride where their were so much Gs it hurt!

 

On the way home I felt horrible. I was beat up and nearly killed throughout the day. I still feal bad. I will not be returning to the May San Gennaro feast again. I hope the september feast, Which has a different Carnival, Is better. It was the worst 3 hours of my entire life. End of Story.

 

QUESTION: Did anyone else here have any trouble with the Ring Of Fire also?

Where was this carnival? I have been to the San Gennaro Feast in Las Vegas a couple of times and have never had any problems. With that said, name a fair that you have been to recently that hasn't been ghetto! From the carnies to bad food and people puking every couple of cycles, carnivals are always an intersting experience IMO.

OMG, that sounds awful!! I can't believe that they blamed YOU for the Ring of Fire lap-bar or OTSR or whatever! And $30 just to get in, plus like another $30 for the ride passes, that's stupid!! Then they charge you $30 to ride the Skyscraper when you bought a ride pass? I know it's a fair, but sheesh!
