subzero1970 Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Now this is my first attempt in this brilliant program and I think its pretty cool, its a very fast woodie (my faves) but a bit insane, would you ride it in real life??? merciless.nltrack
Théo the little french Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Why didn't you called that Cruelty? Merciless is not really true: there's still final brakes to save riders' cadavers! Training my friend, training.....^^
DBru Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Well, uh, the speed was good! Just some advice: I know you're just starting out at NL, but spend more than 5 minutes on track before posting it here. First of all, straighten your brake run, station, and lift hill. Second, FINISH a segment before moving onto another. Don't just click random spots to place the vertices and move on. Use [control+g] to smooth your sections. But then again, don't over-use it. Press to straighten a track segment. All in all, actually work on your coasters. It's not enough just to bump up and down for 3 minutes at 500 mph...

Wow for a kid thats some pretty harsh comments there....but all taken on board in good spirits
DBru Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound harsh! lol, I was just trying to provide some constructive criticism. But I just think you need to spend more time on your coasters. I am just 14, yes, but I've been designing NL coasters and receiving all kinds of criticism for a while now. While my rides still aren't great, they have gotten a LOT better!
subzero1970 Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 I think i'll do with these coasters what I did when I used to make visual pinball tables....TAKE MY TIME
