robbalvey Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 I think you need to re-read our TOS about spamming links: 14. Posting Links or "Spamming" - If you are a brand spanking new user with very few posts, and you're linking to YOUR personal website or forum or some other website just to advertise, don't do it. Your link will be pulled. The moral of the story: If you're an active user, you can post links to stuff, if you're spamming, expect to get kicked in the groin! While you may not be "new", bumping your own spam topic that no one replied to only to spam some more really isn't that cool. Especially when it's just about a press release that's not exclusive to your site. You can read it on pretty much any other site including the Alton Towers web page. If you wanted to post the press release and then link to the official Alton Towers site, that's one thing. But this is just flat out spam. If you have something interesting and unique to post that ONLY exists on your site, please do so, but when it's just a publically announced press release, that's not "unique." --Robb
