Token Yankee Guy Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Ok, firstly I'd like to state that this park is originally not mine. I downloaded it off Coaster-Net (Link: http://www.coaster-net.com/de/rct2/rct2parks.php ). The original creator of the park was AleX. What I did was add new coasters and such and make the layout a bit more user friendly. The original park had flaws in the paths, one of my peeves is creators who don't take the time to create easy paths to prevent patrons from getting stuck. Secondly, I edited this park by using a Trainer. I use Son of the Beast Trainer (Link: http://sob.coastergrotto.com/ ). What I do is I set one ride to 20/7/3 (Excitement/Intensity/Nausea), and click "apply to all rides". Reason I do that is because another peeve of mine is when I create this neat rollercoaster, it is too extreme for the patrons so they don't ride it and my work goes to waste. I also modify the guests by checking off all the available modifications under "Modify Guest Options" then I click "Modify Guests" I also freeze the park rating and cash which are both under the "Park" menu. Park > Park Settings for Park Rating. These modifications help make my park a great place to be and I really don't care since the trainer does help expand my creativity in creating coasters. Now onto pictures (For pictures of what the park used to look like, you can visit the coaster-net link I provided and pictures of what AleX did before I downloaded and made my additions) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v447/SkycoasterFreak/SCR29.bmp This is the main area of the park http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v447/SkycoasterFreak/SCR30.bmp This is the Seaside Midway section of the park. This area is the biggest addition to the park I did. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v447/SkycoasterFreak/SCR31.bmp I modified the Main St from what it originally was. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v447/SkycoasterFreak/SCR32.bmp This is my favorite wooden coaster I built. It's called Cyclone. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v447/SkycoasterFreak/SCR33.bmp My version of Superman: Ride of Steel and a impulse twisted coaster. I hope you guys enjoy my park. But keep in mind, if you do play with the park without the trainer, the patrons will not ride most of the rides since they will be too intense and then they'll become un happy since there aren't a lot of food stalls and bathrooms. [Edit] I dunno why the IMG tabs didn't work so I guess you'll have to click on the links themselves to view the pictures.[/Edit] s Oakwood Park.SV6
kenshinmac Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 The img tags didn't work because you are using bmps... Ugh those things are evil. You know those are uncompressed right? If you just compressed them to jpg's you would be able to easily quadruple the size with a smaller file size.
Token Yankee Guy Posted February 18, 2005 Author Posted February 18, 2005 ^ Yeah I know, but Photoshop was being a bi*ch and not letting me convert the .bmp to .jpg. Damn You Photoshop CS!
kenshinmac Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 I know there are plenty of other programs that will do that... I mean why would you post postage stamp sized bitmaps online... Just giving you a hard time but seriously... bitmaps online?
Token Yankee Guy Posted February 18, 2005 Author Posted February 18, 2005 Ok, I fixed the pictures so here they are
themeparkman25 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Looks great, but I have one question. Any themed areas?
astroworldfan1 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Dude, this park is from 2005. I think it's dead. -Tatum
