StealthFan Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 In 2008 Chessington World Of Adventure will be getting a brand new Sea Life Center located in the zoo. Taken from www.chessington.com Chessington goes under water with brand new SEA LIFE centre! A brand new aquatic attraction is opening at Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo at the start of the 2008 season: a Sea Life Centre with over 20 marine life displays housing species ranging from tiny shrimps and starfish to magnificent sharks and stingrays. The 250,000 litre aquarium, which will be located within Chessington Zoo - will bring kids of all ages almost nose to nose with a wide range of sea creatures, creating the illusion that the visitor is on display while the fish swim freely around. Interactive touchpools, fun exhibitions and a walkthrough ocean tank will offer a final wow-experience as the fish swim overhead. Please check back for more information throughout the year and we look forward to seeing you in 2008 for a season full of new adventures. I think its nice to see the park focus on the Zoo finally but I also think they need a new ride soon. From what I have heard this is a temporary structure and the planning permission has only been given for 2 years. All the information stated can be found here: http://www.chessington.com/park_guide/new_for_2008.asp

TPDave Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Looks like Merlin are getting to work pretty fast! I hope they don't merge the brands too much, i'd like an annual pass that doesn't cover all their UK attractions because I only go to a few of them...
