Godwyn Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 So the Blue Man Group came to Springfield, which is kind of surprising to me that came to play in such a small city. Well this is the first time I have ever seen them, and I didn't really know what to expect. I had seen bits and pieces on tv before but not really the whole aspect of what a Blue Man Group concert is all about. Well I must say I had a wonderful time. I was thinking that we would not be allowed to take pictures but my wife went and asked the usher and he said that he didn't have a problem with it. I would definitely go seen them again if they came back around. Our souvenirs; a DVD, a program, a hoodie for my wife and a t-shirt with the same design on the front as the hoodie for me. "Good nite, we love you all." Well, they didn't really say that, but you know they just wanted to. They even TP themselves. I bet they love TPing houses on Halloween. Jumping.... with cod pieces. Are those wooden spoons paited red? Looking like they should be in Predator or something. Lead guitarist after being put into "the box". Sorry that its a little fuzzy. FREEBIRD!!!!! Right after this he got sprayed with a fire extiguisher. There were actuall people on stage that wasn't blue. The coolest picture we got all nite. Getting up close and personal with the crowd. Heading into the crowd. A group of blue men. My ticket and something that they were handing out at the venue.
TheRapidsNerd Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Always wanted to see one of these shows. The music is supposed to be really good and funny. Do they still have the random tubes going from the dressing rooms to the audience? Friend of mine went once and said sometimes the guys will talk to you while they're suiting up or just say "hello" to catch you off guard. Thanks for posting these.
Godwyn Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 Do they still have the random tubes going from the dressing rooms to the audience? I'm not sure if they did or not. We were running a little late and barely had enough time to get in, get our stuff, and get to our seats before the show started. Although that would have been pretty cool to see.
