Nrthwnd Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Just found out. He's left us, quietly just as he was with us in life. A genius in the art of not speaking but being able to tell a whole tale/story with just his body, spare props and a face that rivalled Charlie Chaplin in expression and emotion. Sad. And nothing else to say, really.
steel Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Mimes are amazing. I don't know why everyone hates them. They're really cool. Always a sad thing to hear. Did they have a moment of talking at his funeral?
resonancej Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 I read his obituary on fox news the day he died, he has an amazing story. He was a Holocaust survivor and worked with the resistance in France against the Nazis. I'm with steel, anyone who can express themselves with their body in such a subtle and beautiful way I have a lot of respect for. We don't have artists like this anymore.
