When is the best time to visit Heide Park?

For all of you European thrillers, when would be the best time to experience Heide Park, Germany?

Heide Park is a great park: have fun there! The best time to go is during weekdays and not in a holiday. I don't know exactly the German holidays, but I think you know your own holidyas! Of course there's the dutch holiday you should keep in mind: the last two weeks of october. But not many of us will go there during those holidays... But you'll never know!

 

Top 6 rides:

- Colossus

- Scream

- Desert Race

- Pinball machines at the playhall at colossus

- The waterrides are great and you'll get wet!

- THe bobsled is great too

I usually go to Heide Park at the begining of july or august... never experienced more than 30min queue, max. But that's 2 years ago.

 

My top 5 at Heide Park:

 

1. Colossus, the Intamin woodie

2. Scream, the parks gyro drop. They says it's the tallest in europe or the world, but not sure...

3. Schweizer Bobbahn, the longest bobsled coaster in the world (I'm not so sure here either)

4. Limit, a classic SLC

5. Wildwasserbahn 2... I think this is the best water-ride in the park, the mountain rafting is so lame, you don't get wet

I loved the front seat, the "hang-time" is just amazing! But the backseat isn't so bad also...

 

If you go to Heide Park before me, hopefully I go on the TPR Europe 2008, let me know how Desert Race was... 'kay?
