IwantRevenge Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 just for jahan Swamp Beast =============================== A fine example of good crappy trackwork. Swamp Beast is a classic arrow multi looper, and like every good arrow (oxymoron) this isn't heartlined, instead the track is used as the center of gravity (sounds fun eh?. I have to say it was a blast not heartlining the track for once and my next track i'll be back to fully heartlining my tracks =============================== Stats: Height: 107ft Speed: 50mph Length: 2464ft Inversions: 4 (Loop. Immelmann, Double corckscrew) Max+gs: ~4.5 Max-gs: -1 Max lats: 1.6 =============================== Requirements: *NL 1.6 and improved friction* *CCI Cloudy Enviorment* *Track Packager* =============================== Thanks to: Ploddish, Andre (Crazycoaster), Leighton (Lieghton), James (jamesissoocool) - Testers Ron toomer (SP?) - Arrow CEO dude/founder thing 46 views and not one comment, not even a "dude that sucked ass" ? i'd settle for that Swamp Beast.nlpack
Golfie Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I thought the layout was nice, but I just noticed a few things that could've been different to better imitate an Arrow multi-looper. 1. The banking in/out of the turn at the top of the lift should start when the coaster has already leveled, NOT when it IS leveling 2. The hill after the first drop could've used some smoothing as well as some straightening 3. After the straight piece of track after the double corkscrew, the turn was WAY overbanked. But I DID like the layout.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Pretty nice layout. But as golfie said, the last turn had way too much banking. You should have put that on the entry to the corkscrews. Oh, and the second inversion is a sidewinder, not an immelmann.
