Ed Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 I've never been able to see streaming videos and I use the IE-Addon for firefox to view them, but i'm asking all you tech people is there a way to make them work without having to use the IE thing?
imbordisux Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 I have the same problem with Firefox, it won't play certain videos, and I'm pretty sure I've downloaded and installed every plug-in needed. I usually just open Internet Explorer when that happens, and paste the URL there to view it, then close IE when I'm done, but it'd be nice to rid myself of that little nuisance.
ParkTrips Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Weird, my Firefox has no issues on this site. The only addons I have is the tabbed browsing upgrade and a js killer. Now, the firefox on my mom's computer, on the other hand, sometimes has trouble but I can't establish a pattern...
Homer Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Is your WMP the latest version (version 11)? I could see streaming video on TPR since I got WMP 11. As for Vekoma Fan Boy, most people hate IE because its full of security holes and Firefox just has some added convenience.
imbordisux Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Yeah, I have version 11, but it still won't play anything.
