Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum Help!

I just installed Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum to my computer and when i try to start it this meassge pops up-

 

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

 

 

Programs: ...Files/Atari/RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum/RCT3plus.exe

 

abnormal pragram termination

 

What does this mean and what do I need to do to make it work?

My computer is a Windows Vista operating system. Does that have anything to do with it?

The non updated version of RCT3 is extremely buggy. My computer was constantly crashing on me when I first installed it too.

And this is what happened to me when i try to start the game..a message pops upand says"directx9 not dound debug"...i have directx9...help=/
