MiamiBoii4392 Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I know this probably isn't the best place to ask, but does anyone know of any kind of gimmick or something that I can do to improve the signal I pick up with my Nintendo DS? Does Something like sticking a piece of aluminum in the back of the battery compartment boost the range of the DS?
onewheeled999 Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 My only piece of advice is to get as close as possible to the source of your signal. If you don't know where it is, like if you're at a McDonalds, just ask where it is and find a seat as close as possible to it. That's all I know.
MiamiBoii4392 Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 I know that, but i don't go to McDonald's, number one because i would never eat the food, (and nobody should) and two because I already have WiFi at my house, What i need is something like an antenna extender, or something that would boost the antenna's range, and i already have a linksys range expander, but whenever i try to connect to that, i get connected to it, but not to the Nintendo online service. So i think that the Linksys Range expander is not compatible with the DS, unless i have a wrong setting on it and someone else has a linksys range expander that works with their DS.
