Ccron10 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 On Saturday, I came up with an idea, why not create a park and dedicate it to the soldiers who lost their lives in the Civil, Revolutionary, Spanish-American, World war's I and II and the current war in Iraq? That's what LibertyWorld is all about! Featuring 4 areas: The Revolution, The Confederate South, Wild Wild West and World Torn. A waterpark will be put into one of these areas. The first area completed was The Revolution. Located in a wooded forest, this area boasts the world's tallest splash chute at 200 ft! There's also a wooden GCI called Freedom Fighter. Revolution is a 4 across, looping coaster. The trains were bought from Six Flags Magic Mountain's Flashback and the ride was specially designed by B&M to fit the cars. There's also an bird-themed coaster called Eagle's Flight which soars over hundreds of pine trees. The second area under construction is The Confederate South which combines the openness of the cotton fields with the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Inside these is a log flume which provides a great view of the park. More's to come and my goal is to get this park done by either Thursday, Friday or Saturday at the latest. Construction on Hersheypark and Emerald Lake will restart after it's completion. Oh! Did I mention that all of this was done in 2 days? The Confederate South area (so far). Smoky Mountain River Falls (no scenery) and the small river will be the Mississippi Queen River Cruises (Paddlesteamer). The park's layout. It features the steepest drop on a coaster and also an Immelmann. Revolution Revolution and Liberty Flyer spinning discus. Freedom Fighter with Revolution and Patriot's Plunge in the distance. The Revolution area.
brandon Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 wow this is amazing and very original, i just dont like the over 90 degree drop on one of the coasters it looks quite painful but hey, its RCT3 not no limits so i guess its fine. its amazing how you did that in two days
America Sings Freak Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 This park is fantastic so far keep it up.
Ccron10 Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 I doubt I'll get the park done by tomorrow, I'm still working on the second area and nothing's happend with the other two. This is what I'm going to do, I'm going to shoot for a finishing date of Labor Day and in the meantime, I'll work on my HP re-creation.
AlmereStars Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 when is labor day? 4th of june or something (then there's something in USA..., don't know what) I really think your doing a great job so far, only comment I have is that the watersplahs (old part) is to high... don't like that, but it's your park I'm looking forward to see the logflumes with theming and take your time... the only reason there are release/finishdates is to suspend the date several times
Ccron10 Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 Labor day is September 3rd, but that's the duedate which means I could get it done sooner than that. The reason why is because I have 3 parks going on at the same time, so what I want to do is get the HP re-creation done first and then come back to work on this park and then finish Emerald Lake. I'll work on each of them every once and awhile in the meantime.
