Trip Panning Disneyland California

I'm planning a trip for my family to go to Disneyland in California on September 28th threw October 3rd. But everytime I look for a hotel their all booked, I would like to stay at one of the Disneyland hotels. But I was just wondering what kind of events are happening their to cause every hotel to be booked. Thanks

Have you tried calling their reservation line? Sometimes the web based system is a little screwy.
