kennywood!007 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Zeus is my second NL coaster, I was gonna do a GCI, but the concept/layout for this ride popped up in my head. Personally, I think I've already improved from my first coaster Timber. Your gonna see way more of my coasters on the forums, I'm addicited now! Enjoy! Zeus.nltrack Enjoy, tips/critism is greatly appriciated! Zeus!
Steffen_Dk Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I liked all the tunnels. They gave a very good effect. And the coaster was good. There were some small bumpy places, and at the top the lift hill made a little crack. But if you keep on trying, you'll get awesome!
Golfie Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I liked the layout, but you need to take some more time smoothing out the nodes and perhaps running it through the track smoother - I had to check whether or not shocks were on!
coasterfreak101 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I could definately see GG doing a smaller coaster like this! Just a few things I noticed when riding: -The top of the lift hill had a slight bump in it. That's happened to me before, it's usually the cause of straightening out the drop - sometimes it throws the lift hill off slightly. -Coming out of the first tunnel, there was a tree hit to the left of the track. Go to "Edit", "Select All", hold down "G", and check "Tunnel." Check for trees poking through the tunnel sides. -At the end of the far turn around, the Lateral G's spiked into the yellows for a brief moment. I'm not sure how much the body can handle...I would assume that 1.6 lats for a slpit second isn't too bad though. Just pointing that out Overall, this coaster and Timber were great coasters, especially for your first and second ones! Keep up the great work, they can only get better!
kennywood!007 Posted May 27, 2007 Author Posted May 27, 2007 Thanks, everyone. I'm gonna take a break from wooden coasters and try a B&M Hyper coaster next.
