RollerC Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Coasterdad and Gunkey Monkey were able to take a pre season tour of Geauga Lake before it officially opens this next Saturday. http://www.geaugalaketoday.com/GL_Tour_2007.htm
Homer Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 It seems kind of sad to look at a lonely 50's Midway area. That area has been screaming new ride for the past few years. Other than that, the park looks great. I still can not wait to visit Geauga Lake on the Midwest trip because of Dominator and Wildwater Kingdom.
ginzo Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Hahaha. I was planning on going to Geauga Lake next Friday, until I read this thread. This wouldn't have been a big deal, because I'm going to be in the area all weekend anyway. Still, it would have been funny to have my own Clark W. Griswold moment. Has their season always been this short? Me at Geauga Lake next Friday.
carolinacaniac Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 ^ But instead of Marty Mouse it would have either been Charlie Brown or Snoopy. Still, that would be great!!!! Villain may actually not be too bad with the new wood. But as said before, the 50's area kind of looks depressing, But I still hope that they can make this park a good regional park.
RollerC Posted May 18, 2007 Author Posted May 18, 2007 The season used to begin Early May and end in Late October but CF deciced to cut the season short and elimiante the Haunt competetion.
