carolinacaniac Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 So I just saw the "all new" Wild Waves (formerly Wild Waves and Enchanted Village) website, and the first things that stick out to me is the video they have that is supposed to be for Timberhawk, but it is really the SFDK version of Roar. Gambler seemed to be the right video, but Klondike gold rusher was some other wild mouse and the Wild Thing (Arrow Loop-Screw) didn't even show up. To be fair, they could still be working out the kinks and slowly changing things, but after seeing the general displeasure with Darien Lake from opening weekend, I kind of wonder if this PARC company is the right company to be running these parks. Either way, I can't really judge the place until I go in July, which will be my first time in about 8 or 9 years.
DarkMeasures Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 It doesn't matter as Enchanted Village was never a good park to begin with.
nasai Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 True. I live 25 miles away, and would still say my "home" park was either Silverwood or the PNE. I'm hoping for big changes, though. May God provide!
carolinacaniac Posted May 8, 2007 Author Posted May 8, 2007 Can't really argue with that, since the last time I went we spent about half of our day their at the water park, took a ride on Wild Thing, then decided to go right back to the water park. But since they added some new stuff since I was there last, I will probably spend more time in the rides part of the park.
coasterfan12 Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 The PARC people are awesome actually. We are getting a new ride for shure this year and a conver for zooma falls. More rides are planned tog go in within the next 5 years. -cf12
carolinacaniac Posted June 11, 2007 Author Posted June 11, 2007 Well, in about a month I will be able to find out how their operations are. I definatly like the idea of new rides being added, but I still am curious as to how it will be operated since I havn't heard of any of the other formerly owned Six Flags parks being ran too well, especially Darien Lake. But them again, that could just be that park. I am hopeful though that Wild Waves can be improved, and if they come through with what they are saying they are going to do, then it should be a nice park!
