Cedar Fair maxx pass - buy online?

Hi all,

 

since I'm going to Ohio in June (Cedar Point, Kings Island etc) I was looking for admission prices. A Cedar Fair maxx pass @ CP/KI is $125, but a Cedar Fair maxx pass @ Carowinds is only about $90.

 

Can I buy the one from Carowinds online and go to CP/KI straight away or do I have to "activate" it at Carowinds or something (which I won't be able to do)?

The pass has to be processed before using it at another park.

 

So unforunatly you would have to go to Carowinds before going to CP and KI.

Well you could get a Maxx Air Pass from Cedar Point or Kings Island, but if your home park is Carowinds I would get it from them. It does not take long all you have to do is give them the papers and they take a picture.
