Shockwave
I'm looking at the best wasy to get to Walibi World. I have been looking at trains to Amsterdam from Schiphol. I think you can get a bus to Walibi World from Leylstad, but I'm not sure. There is also the Walibi Express which goes to Hardenwijk, so I'm pretty confused about it all! I'm coming into Schiphol at 08.30 in the morning. My flight back to Liverpool leaves Schiphol at 21.55 in the evening. Any help on getting to Walibi World would be most kind! selfyselfy
Dude whatever you do dont go to Lelystad!!! My girlfriend took me to Walibi in March for my 21st Birthday and looking at the dutch sites and from asking around it seemed that we could take a bus from Lelystad (Which is better as its closer to Schipol.) Since I had heard something about it not running anymore since Six Flags became Walibi I even checked with tourist information in Amsterdam and was told it was still running (Can you guess where this is going) However arriving at Lelystad we saw a sign saying the Walibi bus wasnt running anymore. After asking at the counter we were told we'd have to get a bus to Hardewick and a bus to the park from there which totally blew my well researched plan to get there for opening. Luckily some dutch guy and his kids were talking to the bus driver and although I couldnt understand anything he was saying the odd 'Walibi' told me he obviously had the same problem. Anyway the bus driver was on his radio and told the guy to get off randomly in the middle of nowhere and taking a HUGE risk me any my gf jumped off with them and followed them across the street to the other bus stop (They must have been quite scared) Neway luckily the bus from Hardewick came and the bus driver had obviously helped the guy out by telling the other bus to stop for us and even though we got there a bit after opening the park was so empty that all rides were walk on all day. NEWAY DONT GO TO LELYSTAD UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO THROUGH THAT!!!!! GO TO HARDEWICK Hope this Horror Story Helps James 'and yes we had to do the reverse on the way back' Self

Shockwave
Next time I head out to Europe, I'll be old enough to hire out a car so that'll make life a lot easier getting around. Hope the weather is nice, I'm going to Disneyland Paris on Friday!

Shockwave
Haha, Arriva are rubbish up here in Manchester as well! I wish I was getting to the park earlier, the train from Schiphol to Harderwijk takes a good 90 minutes according to the Dutch Rail Website. Did you get the train from Schiphol to Harderwijk?
