RCT3 mainstreet help

Hi all,

 

Well, I got shyguys's mainstreet scenery packs a while ago. I was planning on a mainstreet USA for a park of mine. It's just that i'm having SOOOOO much trouble building those great looking mainstreet buildings . Im not very good at architecture and it's hard to copy the buildings from pictures of them. I mean there are SO MANY PIECES. So if anybody knows any sites with pre-made mainstreet buildings I could download. Or if anyone has some mainstreet buildings that they made they colud post the download here. Either way would be GREAT.

Have you tried searching "Images" at yahoo, or google, or gahooyoogle? If not you should try that it might help. I know I am not the best person at building them. But if you want to see one of mine here it is.

that's my best main street ever made

 

it isn't that difficult, what I do is :

 

1. take the "4H wall, of shyguy's main street set 1" use a nice looking color (not white or black, but purple/orange/green etc.) and with that wall just make A building, be sure to use corners so it's not a block that your making.

 

2. Put in the floor (set 2 and 4 have floors) and then just mess around with the roofs from set 1, if you don't like it then place some others walls on top of the others so it's higher (can make a difference) and play with the roofs again.

 

3. last basic step is to put in those roof edges (there white in the set, don't know how they are called, starts with an C , I really can't think of it!)

 

if you've done that, the basic of the building is done, and except from the walls/windows alle the small items are a lot of the same, but slightly different, if you've got the basics then just play with it.

 

and not being a good architect isn't a good argument, you will learn it just don't make it look like a block

Look on www.ataricommunity.com at some of the parks. Most people on there do mainstreets in their parks, and their very, very good. I'm not really good at the mainstreet type parks, I mainly build different type parks.
