Now I know that people do SOLACE a lot and I am wondering....what does SOLACE mean?

Facts I know:

Usually early in the morning

Lots of ERT

Knotts has one in the winter

What I am wondering is, When SOLACE comes what do you do, is it exclusive or do you have to go through a list, why is it so early, What does SOLACE stand for, and can i go to the next one in the southern california area.

Ok, first off, the poll is completely unneccessary so I deleted it.

Second, Knott's Winter Coaster Solace is an event held every year at Knott's Berry Farm for roller coaster enthusiasts. "Solace" is just a word in the title (look it up in the dictionary!), it could be called "Knott's Shrimp Knuckles Bang Toilet Stew" or anything else, that's just the title of the event Knott's gave it. Originally, Knott's started the event so there was a roller coaster event during the winter time when most east US parks were closed.

There is usually information released by Knott's around January of each year. You have to be a member of some sort of roller coaster enthusiast club to get in.

^ Yeah, Knott's is providing "solace" to the roller coaster enthusiasts in other parts of country where their parks and coasters are closed. And it's also a play on words from Winter Solstice. Thus the name.
