Hurricane Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Now please don't call me dumb... but how do you make the complex steel supports? I've seen them on a few woodies, and i'm not sure if you have to make them from scratch, or is there a tool to make them? If you could help me out it would be appreciated...
EuroTre Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 What I found that works is to do this. A) Deselecting the catwalks and handrails, place the wooden structure by using the WoodMagic. B) When this is done, select the type of steel beam you want to use, highlight the whole structure, and go to the supports menu and look for the 'transform selected beams' C) Click on it D) Viola! A steel structure! As for the handrails, catwalks, and colors, I'm kinda lost there myself. Enjoy!
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 For the hand rails and catwalks you need to go into wood magic and under "Global segment flag settings" uncheck both wide supports, enable supports and collision detection. And for the mos important step, under "Build Mode" uncheck "clear previous structure." Do that and have real's cci-steel structure environment. I do have a copy but it's not mine to distribute so...
