philobat Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 All I can say is good riddance to Psyclone and Flashback! Psyclone was a dud from day one! They said it was a duplicate of the orignal Coney Island Psyclone, which it wasn't even close! Not only that it was one of the all time worst coasters ever from day one! We used to call it the Bone Crusher! Flashback was always a bust, with the exception of the high-speed upward helix near the end of the ride. It had a stupid lift hill with a sharp dip before the chain lift that gave you the first of many tooth grinding vibrations! The dive dips were actually cool but as soon as it leveled out the head banging restraints (and God help and ear piercings!). It was pretty fast at times which caused "white Flash head jarring") and when the ride came to an end you were grateful it was over. It left a meanful headache on its riders for the rest of the day! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it stinks (I mean it smeeled like an oil refinery). If they do reassemble this monster I hope they buy new trains w/out over the shoulder harnesses, then I would try it again. Also the color should be black to go with the oil stains!

Before you post information regarding park news, make sure you use the "search" function at the top of your screen to make sure nobody else has posted it already.
