tngdiablo Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 So I'm traveling to London for Spring Break with my sister and I want to go to a theme park so I can get some credits. I'm just wondering which park would be the best bang for buck (exchange rate is insane!). I've checked out Thorpe Park which is relatively close to London and so far thats my pick (18 pounds isn't too steep). Are there any parks accessible via public transit? Thanks for the help guys! Photo TR will follow upon my return. Yay for London! P.S. Any other general suggestions for places to go, things to see in London beyond the obvious ones? (I'm staying for five days)
marthole Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 there are only a few parks near london thorpe park being the closest then you have chessington and paultons park they are all roughly the same price
SharkTums Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Yeah, Thorpe, Chessington, and Legoland are all the closest to London. I'm pretty sure you can get to all three of those on public transport, especially since Chessington has a train station right next to it. Then probably Adventure Island, Brighton, and Paultons are next closest.
marthole Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 yeah all have reall good transport links with trains and buses u can usually get train tickets with park admission included or if you book online you can get reduced price
