My family is going to WDW for 3 days hitting Epcot, MGM, and Magic Kingdom. I already have plans to disband from the group with my nephew for an hour or so to ride EE at Animal Kingdom. Thats only ride there that I have seen that interest me.

So Question #1 is there anything else there worth riding well me and him are there?

Magic Kingdom does their Fireworks at the end of Every Night Right?

How crowded is it normally that week in May? Should we be alright with one day per park like that?

We are possibly going to stay in one of the All Star budget hotels at Disney. Do they get all the same perks as the more expensive hotels do as far the actual parks are concerned? We understand some of the in room perks won't be there but oh well.

My wife can get quite the discount at Marriott because she is a supervisor at the call center here in Omaha. Is it worth staying at Universal? What are some of the perks of staying at Universal?

We found this deal on Sea Worlds site...

Enjoy unlimited length of stay access for up to 14 days to Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Wet N' Wild during your Florida vacation. FREE daily roundtrip transportion from Orlando to Busch Gardens included.

$234.95 adult $199.95 child

We don't plan on going to Wet N' Wild but just going to the other 4 parks it still saves us about $20 for adults and about $10 for the kids. With free transportation to and from Busch which will save us gas money also.

Do you guys think this is worth it or that we can get a better deal?

My mother would like to take the Kids to see the ocean for the first time is Orlando within a reasonable drive of any beaches? We would probably do that the same day as Universal studios and IOA the next day, is that reasonable time managment?

Thank you for your time and Thank you for any advice you may have in advance.

Everest, Dark Dark Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl are the only "exciting" attractions. Kiliminjaro Safari's is cool if you like animals.

Yeah.

That's near Memorial Day weekend, so it should be fairly busy. You may want to allot more time to each park. Are you getting park hoppers? That can really help.

All Disney Resorts have Extra Magic Hours. I'm unsure of what other park perks you are talking about, but EMH is included at any of the resort hotels.

You get Express Passes to both Universal and IOA, so you basically don't have to wait in line. Well worth it if you can do it.

It sounds like a pretty good deal, though I guess it depends on how many days you were going to devote to Universal, Busch, and Seaworld.

I think the ticket you are referring to is the 5 Park Flex Pass. You're absolutely right-- in comparison to paying separate admissions at the 4 parks you mentioned, it's a good deal.

I am leaving for Orlando later this week and have been checking out different ticketing options as well. If you aren't interested in doing Wet n Wild and if you are only staying for a week, I would recommend checking out the deals that are going on at the individual parks right now.

SW and BGA just introduced a new ticket that includes unlimited admission to both parks for 7 days and FREE transportation to BGA from Orlando for $85 if you buy online.

Universal has a similar ticket that is a 7 day unlimited park hopper ticket for $85 if you buy online.

I'm not sure how long these deals will last, or if they'll still be available for your trip, but I'd definitely recommend looking into it. These options will save you even more money than the Flex Ticket, I know they have for me!

Also, if you're going to Universal, become a AAA or CAA member if you're not already. You can get food and merchandise discounts (I think it's 10%) if you flash your AAA/CAA card. If you flash anything else, you might get arrested. Also, you can get some pretty decent AAA discounts with the onsite hotels at Universal and Disney. Heck, a lot of off-site properties have AAA discounts too!
