gmoney422 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Had a great time the other night while popping my Fright Fest cherry. The crowds were very light so the night was very enjoyable. Anyway, enjoy the pics. *Sorry for some of them being blurry...I tried my best... And finally, at 11:15pm, we got stuck on El Toro. It was probably about 45 degrees, and because you’re stapled in to the train, you couldn’t really move much to keep warm. Luckily, it was a minor 10 min stoppage. Thanks for reading! Lil’ Joey wanted to watch Dr. Zombini’s Freak Show, so we indulged. The girl on the left walked on sharp stuff, the guy in the middle ate fire and light bulbs and the freak on the right hammered a 6in nail up his nose…YUCK! Tried to get a good shot of Batman from in-line for the Hayride, but alas, my nighttime feature is not so good with a shaky hand. It was a cool perspective, though! And I lost! Approx. 200 extra lbs in my kart than my opponents does put one in first position…! I almost lost to the guy next to me and his kid in the 2-person kart! I’m going so fast the camera can’t even capture me! I’m trash-talking Lil’ Joey on the Karts because how could an excellent driver like myself lose to a 12 year old kid… Here are my compatriots posing with an empty queue for Superman. This was my best shot of the night. This zombie just stood there behind these people, and they had no idea he was there…classic! Had to point out (arrows) 2 of my other favs…Marilyn Manson guy and Emmit Smith when he gets booted from the dancing show (i My favorite scare-acter…The Leatherface Chainsaw Guy! He just rules! It’s nice to see SFGA got politically correct and included a Gay Zombie Couple into their Fright Fest. Keep reaching for that rainbow, boys! (Not that there’s anything wrong with that…!) Ahhh, and the Pain In My Azz shovel guys. They come up behind you and bang their shovel at your feet. Not amusing when you’re carrying a plate full of funnel cake…Mmmm. Here we have The Three Jackazzes, as they are affectionately known to me. They were not scary…just annoying. Here’s the blood fountain and the parade starting (Note: the arrow is the parade) Oooo…don’t wake the sleeping Ogre…or he might puff smoke at you…YIKES! These are those ppl who stop you to take pics on the way in. Well, I turned the tables on them and gave them a taste of their own medicine! The cheery girl in the background didn’t think it was as funny as I did… Not too many people for Opening Night. This was at about ¼ to 6pm.
Hercules Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 I still refuse to go to this park during Fright Fest. However, I might give it a go in a couple weeks just because. They have that sleeping ogre guy in line for the haunted train at BGW too.
pete4winds Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Is it me, or does the kid from the two-seater look like a shoo-in for next year's Fright Fest? I present a size-reduced version of the photograph he appears in as evidence...
