esomabeli Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Yup. It's the Dragon! And it's my first NL coaster. It's an Arrow corkscrew with a loop and a corkscrew. Yes, I know, I'm boring, but it's much easier to make a simple coaster then to try making a complex one on your first try. No just a drop and two inversions. Enjoy! PS: I know there are red g-spikes. They suck. I think any NL designer would agree with me. Will upload pic ASAP! Dragon.nltrack THE DRAGON!!! it's an arrow corkscrew...with one corkscrew...er...and a loop...and a helix...and yeah...
CommanderLock Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 One word: OW. You had insane lateral red G's on the helix. Not good! You had really short brakes at random points. You should work on getting your elements right. The loop had yellow g's, which is kinda meh. Then the helix looked like a prefab one. Never use the prefab elements. No matter how usefull they seem, they rarely turn out correct.
esomabeli Posted September 6, 2006 Author Posted September 6, 2006 Thanks for the tips. Like I said, this is my first, and tips would really help. Yeah, the helix is a prefab. And those brake sections were meant to be trims, but I just realized that trims need to be straight. WHOOPS!!!
GURZU Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Ufff... the layout... a simple Arrow coaster... nice, but control the Lateral G´s, banked the down corckscrew, and the bumping in the helix...
Satoshi Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 well i saw your nl ride now and i guess that has too much red g's in the lateral. if i was there on the very ride i'd pass out or i'd be startin' to feel some vekoma-like pain in the head.
