Im pretty sure that you should try and do stealth first as its the new ride and then collosus and the rides nearer to the entrance, so hotfoot it to stealth and then come back to lost city and ride those rides. Nemeisis Inferno and detonator will eventually fill up but people tend to go on the rides near the entrance first, so you might want to go on those before you go on the lost city rides, I dont know if this helps, Robb will proabably know better than me.

Here's my tips on doing Thorpe Park on what will probably be a busy day:

1. If you want to enusre you get on all the big rides, buy the one ride fastpass tickets. They are well worth it.

If you want a ride on Stealth, do it first. Just in case it breaks down later in the day. Loggers Leap and Rumba Rapids are very popular, so they may need an early ride. Colossus has a pretty lowly capacity due to the slow load/unload cycle.

Use the single rider lines if they're available, they make life very easy for you.

Do lunch when other people are not doing lunch, you'll avoid the queues at the food outlets.

Apart from that, just work around the park bit by bit. It's not huge, so you'll ahve lots of time to do it all without rushing.

I have a few queries about Thorpe, just wondering if anyone can help me out.

Here goes!

Well, I am going to Thorpe Park in 3 or 4 weeks and I was just wondering if anyone can help me out with this. I am going for 2 days so I want to know what is the best order to do the rides in, are the fastracks worth it, will the locals be at school, how busy will it be?

I have never done one of these so my apologies if its not very good.

Thanks,

Jordan.

Well, i would say when you go in head straight for all the thrill rides and the log flume as they are likely to have the longer ques. maybe even get fast track as that does help a lot. save all the smaller rides till the end of the day as they will have smaller ques.

Hope you have a great day there.

Since this is Thorpe Park expect the rides to break down. When I went yesterday most of Lost City only started operating at 10 am despite a park opening time of 9:30 am.

My personal favourite order to do the rides is this:

Vortex

Rush

Colossus

Samurai

Slammer

Loggers Leap

Nemesis Inferno

Detonator

Stealth

Other rides can normally just be slotted in without too much hastle. When running 2 trains Stealth doesn't tend to get a long queue, when it is running just one, you are doomed. The Rumba Rapids queue, even when stretching out of the entrance tends to move quickly when they are filling the boats properly.

As for Fastpass, I don't tend to use it. Some people love using it, others hate it. The main fact though is when Thorpe oversell Fastrack it creates hell for everyone. British kids return to school at the beginning of September. If you go to Thorpe during the British school holidays expect it to be busy, really busy. Yesterday Colossus 120 mins, Tidal wave >99 mins and Stealth 80 mins

Have a good time

I haven't been on Slammer...that is the one ride in the park that i WILL NOT go on! My friends that went on it said they did like it but they probably wouldn't go on it again as it is too slow and it hurts your shoulders. If you do go on it tell me what you think of it

well, to be honest i thought i was going die, i was waiting in the Que for about five minutes so i didn't have much time to think about what i was doing. i got on it and saw the lights changing and i wanted to get off at that point...but it was too late we were off, it felt great. i closed my eyes on the actual launch but when i got to the top i opened my eyes (good timing) then i put my arms up. i got off the ride and my legs were shaking a bit but i got total adrenaline rush! it was great and i have been on it loads of times since. go on it and you will love it
