Been there, done it and to tell you the truth it's not worth the time or money. I lived in AZ for a couple years and I'm kind of disappointed that they don't have any quality theme parks. If you can get a good deal on the rides...usually during the fall on a weekday...then go.

i agreeits a waste of time and money and its in a terrible area. One of the times i went the circut city at the metrocenter wihich is across the parking lot got robbed and there was tons of police. The only thing worth riding if you really want to go is the splashdown waterride or the patriot mini coaster. The signiture ride desert storm is short and really rough so its not even worth it

I live in Phoenix for 18 months. I think it's worth the money once. Buy an all-day ride/golf pass and play lots of mini golf. Their arcade is actually really good. The log flume and Sea Dragon are great, Patriot is actually not that bad, and Desert Storm is tolerable and forecful if you ride in the front. The addition of the 140' Sky Diver (ARM/Larson Drop Tower) makes CnC worth a visit, as it's comparable to the Fabbri Mega Drop. I'll certainly take it over any S&S tower. It also gives some amazing views of Phoenix. Yes, the park has a somewhat ghetto feel to it, but I can easily justify spending a few hours there. The arcade and Sky Diver alone are worth it.
