ny is for haters Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Hi everyone.. I'm going to Williamsburg in a few days, and I looked up the weather yesterday on weather.com, and everything looked pretty good. Then I looked it up today, and the whole time I'm there it's supposed to be Isolated Thunderstorms.. Can anyone give me updates about the weather, if you live by Williamsburg? We always end up going at bad times. Last time there was a hurricane.. But everything was OK and it didn't storm too much when we went to the park and WCUSA. Anyways, any information would be great. Thanks.
mforce79 Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 It's pretty similar to most other locations on the east coast this time of year. It's impossible to predict where thunderstorms will pop up, just keep an eye on the radar before you go into the park. I usually don't worry about isolated thunderstorms in a forecast. Even if something does come through the area they typically last about an hour or less and the rain is a great relief from the ridiculous humidity. Doesn't look like you'll have to worry about tropical sytems in the next few days. Hope you have a good time.
Jon Sabo Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 To make things even more bizzare, we just went to the 'Burg this past June and it was raining pretty much the WHOLE week and a half and then get the remnants of the Hurricane (Roberto?). It was also very cool (some say COLD) as the temps were very low indeed for the month of June. So much for looking at houses. We will be moving back there next month (already dreading the massive heatwave and hot/humid VA summer).
