dragoncoaster1292 Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Well, it seems that we have gotten my Windows fixed, at least the games, and I can begin to post more of my parks on TPR without killing both my computers. But, I can't take actual screenshots beacuse I won't be able to upload them because the Internet ins't fixed, so the images will probably be very blurry because I am using my digital camera. Here we go, the first park in the Zuckerson chain!: To top it off, a very blurry overview. The ever popular Corkscrew roller coaster, with Cedar Point-style "corkscrews over the midway". The Zuckerson Ticket Wall and other rides. A slightly blurry pic of the entrance and a few of the rides, like the popular Chaos ride.
dragoncoaster1292 Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 Good news! No, I didn't get the Internet fixed. but I got a tripod, so the pictures will be much clearer now.
Homer Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 LMAO, you don't know how to take screenshots without a camera? Quite simple really... 1. Go to the floppy disk, click on "Screenshot". 2. You'll see a notice saying "Saved to disk as SCR#.bmp" 3. Quit the game, head to Program Files>Infogrames Interactive>Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, the screnshots should be there. 4. Click on the file and convert them to JPG's on MSPaint. 5. In MSPaint, go to File>Save As 6. Scroll down the list of formats, choos .JPG 7. Voila, a RCT2 screen without the hassle of dragging out your camera...
dragoncoaster1292 Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 ^I know how to do that, but my camera is the only way I'll be able to put them online, because my Internet doesn't work on my Windows and it can't burn disks. Is that confusing, cause it might be. Anyway: Update! Guests have been reporting seeing the top of a crane above the trees. Some of the guests have even tried to sneak past the security guards! You managed to succeed in getting past the small gap between Chaos and the ticket stand (because the kid working the stand wasn't paying attention as rock music blared from his iPod headphones), and managed to take one picture of the construction before the kid wised up to your plan and called security. As the security guards were pulling you away, you managed to snap one more picture of something on the very side. here they are: ...this is the other picture you took. Looks like a B&M. Or could it be something else? This is the picture of the crane, and what seems like a wall and either foundation or supports. Most likely supports, because...
dragoncoaster1292 Posted June 25, 2006 Author Posted June 25, 2006 Announcement! The folks at ZWA have decided to announce the new roller coaster early for unsaid reasons. The new roller coaster is called Vortex, a B&M Twister coaster which will be enclosed in a building to enhance the theme of the ride, which is space. They have been putting up signs all over the park, and one of these posters has even been plastered to the back of a Corkscrew seat!: Vortex sure sounds interesting! Can't wait for the end of construction and opening day!
dragoncoaster1292 Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 I apologize for the triple post but... Media Day! A select few people were allowed into the new section of the park to ride Vortex a day early. A fan and VIP member, Thomas A. Johansen, wrote a review on Theme Park Critic: I just got back from my home park, and WOW, what an explosive entrance into the roller coaster world! Their new roller coaster, Vortex, is amazing! It's like Rock'n Roller Coaster meets The Hulk! I rode it on Media Day (today) and I just have to that I wasted all of my tickets on it! It starts you off with a great 3D pre-show, which you'll have to see for yourself, then, once you get onto the ride, it's a disorienting ride with four smooth inversions that make the ride even better! I won't say any more, you'll just have to head down to Florida and ride it for yourself! You also got a few pictures of the event, and here they are!: With a special lens on your camera, you looked clear through the wall of the Vortex building and saw the coaster without scenery! Cool camera, huh? Some detail of the queue later in the day on Big Shot, the S&S drop ride. Ealy in the day it was rainy, but later it cleared up, not that it matters for an indoor coaster!
