I rode the one at SFMM back in November 93. ( Wow 13 years ago, time really does fly) That and Viper were my 2 favourite rides there. I'm not surprised to see it go though. The modern drop / tower rides are way more thrilling.

We were in New York a few weeks ago and decided to take a trip on the subway out to have a look at Coney Island. My other half wasn't to happy about getting dragged out to see a closed fairground. I'm glad I got to see it before it is taken over. Hopefully I will get to return sometime in the future and ride the Cyclone. There were about 15 guys working on the Cyclone. It's good to see it getting the upkeep it deserves. She said I should come back here and apply for a job.

I've probably missed it earlier in the thread, but do we know when it is scheduled to open. We will be in Salou from 13th - 20th, hopefully we will get to ride it then.

Hi guys, Another lurker here. We are very interested in the Midwest USA trip. We had been planning a trip to Ohio to visit Cedar Point and PKI next year anyway. Going as part of a pre arranged trip would make things much easier. We will be coming from Sunny Scotland.

It was on the Discovery Channel in the UK tonight, I really have to get over and check out SFGA. There was also a "Megastructures" on National Geographic last week showing Kingda Ka. Makes a change from the usual repeats that we get.
