Hey y'all, I'm making spring break plans and flights to Mexico are insane. Dollywood opens the week my kids (8,6,3) will be out of school so I figured might as well drive 14 hours and check out it! My questions are how is spring break time crowd wise? We're looking at staying at a Dollywood hotel to take advantage of the perks if it's worth it. Any recommendations on hotel or other things to do in the area? Thanks

Has anyone purchased the two park ticket before? I was wondering if I both that, if both tickets could be used the same day? Basically looking to get me and a friend in a little cheaper. Do they do twilight hours or anything?

Alright y'all, what are your food, noon coaster ride, best seat, and other park recommendations? I'll be there for about half the day on a Friday.

I saw scheduled down time and gwazi. I guess I have 2 choices. My flight lands around 12 on Friday. I'm either go Friday when I get there, or go on Sunday before i fly out around 7pm. Anyone have any recommendations?

How possible is it to do all the major rides on a Friday afternoon in January? I know this is a very random question, but I'm going to go to training either in Phoenix or Tampa at that time and was curious if it's possible. I did it at sfft(4-close)and had a blast.

They definitely have. We'll be in Branson and have some other family coming out who want to go to SDC, too. She's in the 2nd, but we'll definitely be taking it easy with many rest breaks. I did find out that my kids are tall enough to ride a lot more than I originally thought. My 4 year old is even tell enough to ride mystic and powder keg if he's brave enough! I'm considering the trail blazer or whatever the fast pass is called. Is it worth it? I think we'll be visiting on the last Monday in August(before labor day). Are weekdays usually crowded? Any show recommendations? Also, it looks like we'll be staying at the Still Waters resorts. Anyone been there and have a review? Basically any tips are welcome!

Unfortunately, we're not able to fly for a while(medical not legal ) so we had to find a close driving destination to take the kids. Tourist traps are big for a reason, so I'm sure we'll find something we like. My kids are amused by a cardboard box and chalk... I think we'll find something to entertain them!

End of August... So yeah, it's gonna be hot!

I'm heading to Branson with my pregnant wife, 4yr old, and 3 yr old. Is going to sdc worth it with them? Or should I just plan a day trip? Do y'all have any other Branson recommendations? TIA

Sorry I missed it. My turkey leg was extremely dry. You could really tell it has say out all day and there weren't guests to eat and force them to refresh. As fast as delicious brisket goes, we went to The Smoke Shack for lunch yesterday and it was delicious! *Chef's kiss*

So there used to be a way to upgrade a ticket to a season pass. Any idea if they can be done online? I won't be back at sfft, but I'll hopefully be going to sfot next month and then want to take the kids to frontier city since it's close and supposedly has a great kiddie land.

I did and it was awesome! The park was clean and empty. One strange thing was literally everything I went on except superman, pirates, and joker broke down while I was was there. Some more than once. Most were quick fixes and it actually took more time to go through the line then the line itself on ask the rides so it wasn't a big deal, just strange. The rides are incredible! Maybe I'm just getting older, but they were all so intense! I could only handle batman once. WW lived up to all the hype, but at 6'3" I ride in the front once and that's all i could handle because of the restraints. I think I liked the back more anyway, but that ride was fantastic in any seat! Superman front right and back left are both insane, but a little less rough in the back. As a mine train fan, this one was a blast(get it). It was really quick for a mine train! Poltergeist impressed the hell outta me. I never would have guessed it to be so long and actually feel like it got faster throughout the ride! But the real star, and my new favorite coaster was IR. There's not a bad seat, and the fronts fun, but back left was my favorite. So much ejector air! It's been a long time since I've been on any coaster, much less good ones, so this was much needed!
