  1. I wouldn't take anything said in one of these studies literally. If we did, we would be looking at a launched Wing Rider that ends by slamming you into a net.
  2. Mine actually came in at 11pm last night.
  3. Here's mine. The image name was 4thStudy_r2_c1.jpg, so I assume this is Row 2, Column 1. 4th Study Row 2 Column 1
  4. I just got lucky number 12! I'll be submitting the three questions above.
  5. Questions that I think should be asked: 1. What were the results of Project Alpha that Dr. Jeffrey Clayton and Dr. David Austin presented in 1918? 2. What did Dr. Jeffrey Clayton and Dr. David Austin discover in the Amazon? 3. What is a "White Dwarf Particle", and what is its significance? Asking about Dr. Coupone is probably pointless, since we know he is an accountant and asking any further questions would risk "outing" our informant.
  6. I had gotten DOCTOR-INTERVIEW from the letters in the molecules, and tried that everywhere I could think of. I even sent an email to DOCTOR-INTERVIEW@rideinstititue.com, which got me a reply from JVD telling me that I was one character off from "moving this clue ahead". Before I could get to it, someone at KeystoneThrills figured out that it was actually DOCTOR_INTERVIEW which, when you search for it, brings you to http://www.rideinstitute.com/pressResources.php
  7. Need I remind you that Goliath at Walabi World, which is Robb's #2 coaster, has only a 151' drop? And that the 4 Mega-lite coasters, which Robb ties for #4, only have a 100' drop?
  8. Stay on target... We're too close! Stay on target...
  9. What song are you listening to?
  10. This puzzle has already been solved. There is one banner that is ___ ___ 2037, another that is ___ 3162 ____, and we got the word CLAY from last week's study (the letters C-L-A-Y were in light grey). If you searched for CLAY 3162 2037 on the site, it would bring to you the letter at http://www.rideinstitute.com/clay01.php (although I personally can't get it to work right now).
  11. Actually, no need to reverse the dots to find the Great Bear -- you just have the wrong dots selected.
  12. This puzzle has already been solved. 13. Even if it is launched (which permit for a "37.3-foot long by 21.7-foot wide by 12.0-foot high lift motor and MCC enclosure in Spring Creek (WWF) and its floodway;" would seem to disprove), Hersheypark only has one other launched coaster. Compare that to King's Dominion, which had four launched coasters for a while (three remain now), or Knott's and Cedar Point, which have three each. I think the point of this release was to tell us where the ride is being built (for those of us that haven't seen the survey markers and the plans submitted to the city). The references to Great Bear and The Comet tell us that the ride will interact with those. The references to rivers and river beds, as well as the references to Stormrunner (the 2004 propulsion study), which also crosses the creek, tell us that the ride will have river crossings.
  14. Or it could be, you know, a real person. What other 200ft hypercoaster does Hersheypark have?
  15. Given that van der Velde is a real Dutch last name, and that all of that person's friends are German, I think this may be unrelated to the game. You would at least think that if this were "in game", that he would list RIT in his public profile (or at least more information than just "male").
  16. GWT on these sorts of drawings stand for Groundwater Table. It refers to the water level. I think "white dwarf" is a reference to The Comet, which will be a white dwarf compared to the new 200ft+ coaster rising above it.
  17. Obviously Great Bear is a reference to the nearby ride. Might Big Dipper be a name for the new ride, or is this a hint that a B&M is in our future? The large flying beast hints from the second link might be pointing to a flying coaster (and the Comet references should be obvious).
  18. The dots are the constellation Ursa Major ( The Great Bear) , with the darker dots representing the asterism known as "The Big Dipper".
  19. For more information that you every need to know about getting the most out of Fastpass at Disneyland and DCA, read through the link at http://www.tripadvisor.com/Travel-g29092-c3632/Anaheim:California:Disneyland.Fastpass.Tips.html It's updated pretty regularly with the latest changes to the system.
  20. That was my 100th coaster (I try to make all my milestone coasters as crappy as possible). The ride experience is like being inside a metal wisk. Rough, painful, and claustrophobic. The worst part was that when I rode there was no one in line so they kept sending us through without opening the restraints. I had to yell at the ride op after the third cycle to let me off (and he seemed suprised that I didn't want to ride that POS again).
  21. I find it interesting that on both the best new coaster and attraction pages, they basically say flat out that an inferior choice won due to massive internet campaigning.
  22. Tokyo Disneyland will be closed for about 10 days: http://blogs.forbes.com/kenrapoza/2011/03/12/earthquake-closes-tokyo-disneyland-for-10-days-kyodo/
  23. Eh, the Matterhorn has been "sinking" since Magnum was just a twinkle in Ron Toomer's eye, at least if you believe the old timers who used to troll on a.d.d. and r.a.d.p.
