okay:
Tutorial: there is a huge help file that comes with the program. After opening the track editor click on the help file at the top (last on the menu bar).
In it are 3 useful sub menus-
1. Help = this is the tutorial for and after reading through it and practicing you will know the basics of the program and how to make simple coasters.
2. NoLimits website - there are many useful links on the website, such as tias nolimits tools, which will become an essential tool when you get more advanced.
3. Tips - these small tips have the option of showing everytime you start up but you can read most of them in the tutorial.
As for my advice - to prevent bumps you will have to alter the vertex. The vertices are the blue balls on the end of each segment of track. You can change their pitch and lenth to get the desired effect. It's hard to explain how to do it properly but just experiement and you will know what i mean. As for shapeing issues, use all of the preset views in the toolebar. This won't solve your problems but it will help you get your desired look.
Also look at the coasters that are already in the program. Granted not all of them are very smooth but it will show you how everything is put together and what the vertices should look like, etc.
My other hints and tips are: The letter 'G' enters the track details such as individual colour, tunnel the track, etc. The letter 'I' wil straighten the piece of track you currently have selected.
Hope some of that helps if you can understnad it lol
