Bob and Ryan, I am going to sit down tonight and plan out the schedule for the California trip.
Originally, Fresno was going to be left out buy I will have to try and see if I can get it to fit!
Hopefully I will be able to post the Big Mike Road Show 2008 California itiniery tonight so I can meet up with LOTS of peeps! California is a hot bed for good friends I think!
Shane, I noticed season #2 is starting up quickly to avoid me passing you LOL
Peace, Big Mike

Actually, during the next games, Rick actually told us to high kick! LOL
Rick, I have watched this about 5 different times already
Peace, Big Mike

Hey Friends and fellow valuable Big Mike Readers!!!!!!
We have done it everybody, thanks to you!!!
The Big Mike Road Show 2008 has entered the TOP 20 THREADS OF ALL TIME ON TPR!!!!
I owe it to all of you greta Big Mike Readers and fantastic friends!!!
I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo honored
The threads have been around since Feb 2005 and it is hard to believe that my little thread started ONLY 7 MONTHS AGO has already reached the Top 20!!!
This counts every forum and every thread and I can't believe we have done so well, I thank you all!!!
Also, thanks to Shane for pointing this out to me! I knew we were the #1 thread for 2008 by far, but had no clue we were doing so good ALL TIME!
We are actually #2 this year, but I don't count the TPR Official Updates which have a distinct advantage being "stickied" compared to my thread battling to stay on the front page all the time! It would be like comparing attendance records for the Yankees in a major league stadium at Yankee Stadium and the Cyclones in a minor league stadium in Coney Island!!
Comparing, there are 7 "Official Trip Updates" in the Top 20!!
These threads are just sitting ducks for Big Mike to pass as these will soon die out!!!
There are 9 2005 threads, 4 2006 threads, 5 2007 threads, and only 2 rookies this year in the Top 20!
This is like Big Mike coming into Major League Baseball this year as a rookie and already on the list of most homeruns in history!
Thanks to EVERYBODY!!!!!!
(Here is a list for you to view)

For all the cracks Bi Mike makes about what I wear from time to time, he goes ahead and wears a shortsleeve turtle neck....wtf?
Big Mike is always the fashion trendsetter!
The hot babes were flocking to the Big Man all day long!
Peace, Big Mike

Come on Angela, I could have taken 100 pictures of you and all 100 would have come out nice
You can count on an Angela/Big Mike Meet in 2009 for sure!
Peace, Big Mike

Rick,
I am sorry that the luxurious king sized beds were not delivered in time for your visit!
I specifically told them I had guests coming and they failed.
I have restocked the open bar for your next visit!!
Peace, Big Mike

Hello Friends!!!!!!!!!!!
What a weekend it was!!
First off, it was the grand opening of the New Big Mike Hotel!!
There was also the visit from Rick and his Coaster Palooza Tour from California!
I also finally got to meet Angela from Philadelphia at Great Adventure!
Oh, and I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Yankee Stadium!!!
I am going to pause the amusement park updates just this once to bring you the Yankee Stadium Farewell Update!!!!
Dont forget, The Big Mike Road Show 2008 will be traveling to California very soon, Oct 3-12th! Hope to see a lot of friends there
Ok Big Mike Readers, on to a wild and crazy weekend!
Just a side note. My lawyers and legal team have advised me not to show any parts of the New Big Mike Hotel, something about all the Big Mike Readers staying for free and possible trouble with the IRS and government.
Hope you enjoy!
Peace, Big Mike
What a weekend!!! I will never forget how much fun we had Rick!!! Thanks for sharing these great times!!! Hope you enjoyed everybody! Peace, Big Mike
Another thank you goes out to Parker, Jeffrey's (aslinterpreter) son. Parker met me at World's of Fun (update coming soon) and drew me this Yankee picture when he found out I like the Yanks! Parker, here is YOUR photo at the final game at the Stadium!
A few thank yous are in order too! Jon (Moose) came through and sent a whole box of new duckies for the Find the Ducky 2009 games!! THANKS Mr. Moosey! I thought you would enjoy your little ducky attending the final game ever at the Stadium, and sitting on top of the Yankee dugout!
Another tradition we are going to start like the T-Shirt check off, a picture of every guest by the town sign right outside the Big Mike Hotel. Rick was the first Big Mike Reader guest to enjoy the luxurious accomidations!
Since Angela is from Philly and no one had checked off Pennsylvania yet on The Official Big Mike Road Show 2008 T-Shirt, Angela checks off Pennsylvania as her boyfriend Ryan looks on proudly!
Finally after a long year of having Angela's (ElTorogirl84) name making surprise visits on various Big Mike updates, we finally meet!
Believe it or not, we actually started the day at Great Adventure getting Rick some credits he needed! (Had to throw in some coaster stuff to keep the mods off my back)
The Babe says this will be continued!
The whole team took a lap around the field.
Derek Jeter addresses the crowd.
Some idiot ran onto the field after the game and they beat the crap out of him.
The final out ever at the Stadium.
Instead of putting the nights attendance up, they put up the total attendance of every game combined.
Every night, they counted down the games remaining. Once it should have said zero, they put up forever instead as the new Yankee Stadium will continue the tradition.
Big Mike and the Yankee Stadium Farewell sign.
Once safely inside, I had to write to the valuable Big Mike Readers coming to them LIVE from the Stadium!
Once inside, I still had to travel a "red carpet" type of path past the screaming fans and the lights of the camera crews, luckily with a police escort!
Such is the life on The Big Mike Road Show 2008!
There were a lot of high profile celebrities attending today, Big Mike included! We had to use a special guarded enterance to keep the fans and camera crews a good distance away.
We returned on Sunday for the last game ever, Thanks for the Memories!
Here is Brian and the rest of the gang.
After the game, we headed to Mickey Mantles for dinner.
Brian pitched 7 scoreless innings and was taken out at 0-0. Since he did not get a decision, I went back to rooting for the Yanks and they won in the bottom of the ninth! A win/win for everyone!
Why when girls sport the "Larry Look", they look HOT, but when Larry does it, he looks like a dufus?
The grounds crew doing YMCA.
Brian's name up in lights.
There is our friend Brian, who is starting for the Orioles! This was the 1st time I rooted against the Yanks.
I had to write "The Big Mike Road Show 2008 was here" on the foul pole.
Monument Park and Big Mike representing TPR.
Another day, another trip to the VIP line!
The new Yankee Stadium right next door.
Big Mike and Yankee Stadium.
One of my main highlights was singing "New York, New York" as a group at the end of the game, and the 3 encore songs also.
Even though you could not enter intoxicated, there was no problem getting intoxicated once you were inside!
Here is the whole gang at the game, taking a weekend off from The Big Mike Road Show 2008!
The final series ever at the Stadium.
Uh oh. No intoxicated people may enter. Rick had taken full advantage of the open bar at the new Big Mike Hotel.
Big Mike's home away from home, the VIP line!
There she is, Yankee Stadium! Our first of three trips here over the weekend.
Eating at the Hard Rock, Rick, Big Mike, and two of the Big Mike Road Show 2008 tour group, JJ and Jim.
Next stop, Times Square and Hard Rock New York!
I hear that Miss Liberty's contract is expiring soon and she is contemplating retirement, so I am practicing to take over.
The Statue of Liberty was a lot of fun.
A Big Mike Exclusive Shot.
A few random shots of the Statue.
NYC is Big Mike's playground.
We reach as high as we are allowed to go.
While I was here, I figured I would pitch my idea for a brand new coaster.
Big Mike knows Miss Liberty is getting old, so he helps her raise the torch.
Rick was nice enough to give Miss Liberty a pedicure.
A couple of boogers.
Big Mike with the original torch.
Welcome to the Statue of Liberty. I am your tour guide, Big Mike.
There she is, Miss Liberty.
I was very honored to take part in The Coaster Palooza Tour.
Rick points out the first stop, The Statue of Liberty!
Big Mike knows NYC like the back of his hand. Just a side note, I sure look like I am getting much better looking with age.
The weekend started with the Coaster Palooza Tour wanting a guided tour of NYC by Big Mike!

The Big Mike Road Show is coming at you LIVE from Yankee Stadium on the Blackberry!!
Last game EVER and The Big Mike Road Show is in attendance!!!
The morning started at Great Adventure where we finally got to meet Angela and her boyfriend! You make a cute couple! It was GREAT meeting you.
So, sitting in the stands now, I would like to apologize for no Big Mike LOCK CITY picks this week. With the new Big Mike Hotel opening up and The Coaster Palooza Tour in town, and finally using all my VIP connections to get these impossible tickets, there was no time for picks.
Already met Derek Jeter and Joba Chamberlein.
GO YANKS!!!
Peace, Big Mike

Always remember the Big Mike Road Show 2008 key phrase for the shy people... You say "I wish it was snowing" within hearing distance of me and I will turn and say "then we can ski down the first drop!". Then the ice is broken and we can have fun!!!
Rick and the Coaster Palooza Tour AND The Big Mike Road Show 2008 Both look forward to hanging out with you!
Anyone else, come out and say hello.
Peace, Big Mike
-
Can't wait to meet you tomorrow Angela, it has been a long time coming!!!
We also plan to be at opening at go to El Toro and Kingda Ka for Rick.
I will go out of my way to look for you if you tell me what you are wearing.
Peace, Big Mike
-
The Coaster Palooza Tour and The Big Mike Road Show Tour will both be at Six Flags Great Adventure this Sunday at opening!!!
See you there!
Peace, Big Mike

Hello Friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE LONG WAIT AND ANTICIPATION IS OVER!!!
THE BIG MIKE HOTEL'S GRAND OPENING IS TODAY!!!!!!!
New Jersey (AP Wire)- The much anticipated Big Mike Hotel is set to open its doors for the first customer tonight.
The very first TPR guest will be none other than Rick and his "Coaster Palooza 2008" Tour.
The scene is very exciting, as the media has descended upon Big Mike World Headquarters for this grand event!
Streamers, balloons, a marching band, the mayor, and all the tv stations are just a few of the spectacles that await The Coaster Palooza Tour at check in tonight.
The Big Mike Hotel has been a work in progress for over a year, catering exclusively to the high class, valuable Big Mike Readers.
A few of the features of the new Big Mike Hotel is free airport transportation, free breakfast, escorted trips to local amusement parks, on-site pool, jacuzzi, weight room, cable tv, movies, a free welcome dinner upon arrival, free internet, and best of all, an open bar.
"The Big Mike Hotel is the grandest place in the state of New Jersey. We here in Montville are very appreciative of having the opportunity to have The Big Mike World Headquarters located in our town. We are proud of Big Mike and his undying dedication to all his Big Mike Readers" said the mayor of Montville.
A Forbes magazine representative explains "What would you expect from the creator of the #1 TPR thread of 2008? Just like The Big Mike Road Show 2008, this place is top notch, first class, and no expense has been overlooked. This place is no doubt a 5 star rating"
Look for updates and photos on this monumental event in the newspapers or on your local news or keep your eye right here for live coverage!
Peace, Big Mike President and CEO of the NEW Big Mike Hotel

Hey Friends!!!!
The next stop on The Big Mike Road Show 2008 Heart of America Tour was at SKATEDAZE in Omaha Nebraska!
This was a fun place and I got a personal tour around
I hope you enjoy!
Peace, Big Mike
If you are ever in the Omaha area and want to play some lasar tag, ride a unique Miner Mike, or see some tremendous artwork, stop by SkateDaze and tell Jay that Big Mike sent ya! Hope you enjoyed! Peace, Big Mike
Big Mike was invited back anytime to be special guest DJ.
With a name like SkateDaze, you knew they had to have a skating rink.
Here are some other attractions at SkateDaze:
The artwork throughout the whole complex was sensational!
The game is played on different levels too.
I thought it was very cool of Jay to let The Big Mike Readers get a sneak peak.
The game has all the black light glow in the dark type of things.
I got a behind the scenes look at the new lasar tag game during a VIP walk through.
Even though it was closed, Jay wanted to show The Big Mike Readers what won the Best of Omaha 2008 award!
When I got off the coaster, I was met by Head Honcho Jay Day and I told him all about The Big Mike Road Show 2008!
They also had a nice loud train horn that they sounded, great touch!
In a first for The Big Mike Road Show 2008, this Miner Mike also went BACKWARDS after you were done going forwards!
It almost looks like you are going to go right into this shaft!

I have my ticket to ride the roller coaster!

I have been busy putting the finishing touches on The Big Mike Hotel for its grand opening for you Rick!!!
Peace, Big Mike
-
Correct. Actually the whole ticket was voided because I could not find a replacement bet that I liked.
Good thing!
I always say I will never bet week #2 and I always find out that I am right.
Peace, Big Mike
-
Hi James!
Nice to hear from you again my friend!
Seems like only yesterday we were riding coasters together.
All is well, thanks for sking.
How are you??
I am getting set for The Coaster Palooza Invasion next weekend and then California in early October!!!
Peace, Big Mike
-
Nope, no kid.
I bring along something better, The Big Mike Magic!!!!
Peace, Big Mike

I guess I can show you last years team since you cant screw that up!
This was the Champions League, you already had to be a champion to be in it, and I was the champion of that too!!

So you still don't want to post your starting line-up in your Big Money league.
Yes, Pyhton Pit with a bad ride op can get stuck on the lift hill after completion of the circuit, if you ride with friends and have a full train.
But I guess you need to ride coasters with friends for that to occur, something you don't know much about.
Sure, blame it on EVERYTHING else but your lard ass. The Big Mike Readers know the truth
I was debating on puting my team on here, but then thought I better not. This is my TPR trip we are talking about. I like funding it from Fantasy Football.
I have known Larry for about 3 years, and I don't think I have EVER seen him win at anything, nothing! He is just, as we call it on my championship teams, ahhh, I better not say it. Lets just say anything Larry is a part of comes out on the short end of the stick. So having Larry know my fantasy team would sink me quicker than his lard ass sunk the Python Pit coaster!
So to all the valuable Big Mike Readers and friends out there who have ridden coasters with me all year long, don't let Larry's remarks put any doubt in your minds, you ARE my friends!!!!!!!!!!
Lets see what we have next.... SkateDazed in Nebraska, where I got a personal tour around the whole complex!!!
Peace, Big Mike
PS - Thanks for the best wishes for Lucky Dog, he is getting better
-
Hello great friends!!
The next stop on The Big Mike Road Show 2008 Heart of America Tour was Zonkers in Olathe Kansas!
This was the last coaster I needed in Kansas, and now Kansas is 100% complete!!!
Before we get to the trip report, let me give you Big Mike's Week #2 NFL LOCK CITY picks!!!
Week #2 is always the tricky week, so usually I set up two bets and hope for a sweep, and settling for a split.
These are two team teasers again and for people like Larry who have a hard time understanding, I will just post the actual lines after they were moved 6 points for a two team teaser!
Big Mike's LOCK CITY bet #1
Rams +14 1/2 over Giants
Ravens +10 1/2 over Texans
Big Mike's LOCK CITY bet #2
Jets/Patriots over 31
Cardinals/Dolphins over 32 1/2
Update on Big Mike's Fantasy Football teams:
Big Money League = Big Mike 1-0
Regular Money League = Big Mike 1-0
Hope you enjoy the trip report!
Peace, Big Mike
That is it from Zonkers! I liked the ape, who had on the same jacket with a million pockets as hot fuzz Rich has! Hope you enjoyed! Peace, Big Mike
Other rides at Zonkers:
Credit #696 for Big Mike! Notice that Big Mike made it up the lift, not like Lard Ass Larry* and his past attempt at a Python Pit! LOL *Can't debate that!
Theming.
The lift.
The right side of the ride.
The left side of the ride.
I just happened to have 3 tickets!
The Python Pit cost 3 tickets.
Python Pit!
Here are the prices.
The park is located inside The Great Mall of the Great Plains.

How cool is that being that we were just talking about Texas the other day lol.
Oklahoma was very nice
Well I suppose some of you know Lucky Dog. He is my dog that checked off oneof the states on The Official Big Mike Road Show T-Shirt.
Well Lucky Dog got cut open tonight somehow while out for a run and had to go to the Animal Hospital. He had to get some stitches. This is the 2nd time in 6 months.
So, he is all doped up and I have to give him pills and eye cream for 7 days.
Thus, this weekends trip to Michigan has been cancelled.
Back to back weekend trips, this one to Michigan and last weeks Myrtle Beach trip cancelled, lost both airfares lol. Granted they were only $18 and $39.
Add these to the cancelled Boston trip over Labor Day and The Big Mike Road Show 2008 is in a rut!
Have no fear though, the California Trip in October will still meet the quota of 100 parks visited this year
Time to go take care of Lucky Dog!
Peace, Big Mike
-
Oh Yes!!!
Can't wait to show everybody how awesome you treated me
Everyone is going to be soooo jealous!
Peace, Big Mike
-
Wow, that sounds like my kind of trip!
Peace, Big Mike
-
Hey Rick!!
I am trying to coordinate that the third round ducky game gets posted while you are vacationing at The Big Mike Hotel!!!
Honestly, I can only do the ducky game at the big parks, and this trip had a lot of small parks.
ATTENTION to the 20 players left in the game and the thousands still playing along, the Official Round 3 Ducky Game will take place in the Worlds of Fun trip report, which is only NINE trip reports away!!!! LOL
Love to all the Big Mike Readers!
Peace, Big Mike
THE BIG MIKE ROAD SHOW - 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PICS ON PG 769
in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Posted
Yep, Hard Rock Park screwed me over lol, along with that hurricane.
Bob, the plan is to fly into San Fran on a friday, do the northern parks during the weekend, drive to Haunt on Sunday and do the southern parks during the weekdays, and head back up north for the following weekend.
Peace, Big Mike
