It's time once again for the Mikestery Treasure Hunt Game!! There was some confusuon as to how big the card actual is, so here is a picture of what you are looking for taken in a random photo op location. Some action shots: There are signs, videos, and verbal warnings to keep your hands down! Big Mike chalked that up to usual safety info, but was curious as too how much it was stated. Big Mike decides to buck the system and ride hands up and gets jolted soooo hard on the ride that he decides to follow thier advice. Back of the train. Front of the train. Big Mike knows his viewers demand more from a Big Mike Trip Report compared to anyone elses, so here are some action shots after I bought some tickets! Thanks to Shawn for the buy one get one free coupon!!! The ride ends as you enter back into the building. You exit the mountain and hit one last bunny hop. You make a few spins inside this mountain too. A little tunnel. All of the previous action took place in the rear of the casino, and now you enter the front of the casino. Leaving those two turns, you hit the bunny hops. Big Mike had extra time, so you get two shots of each element. Leaving that first turn, you enter this long sweeping turn. Another turn view. Leaving the tunnel you enter this turn. Exit of the tunnel. You enter a tunnel at the bottom of the drop. Lots of drop angles. Another drop picture. The drop. The lift. Hello Friends!!!! The votes are in and now the voting is closed!!! It was an extreme nail biter!! Before I tell you the results, let me just answer that I thought In The Heights was awesome! Had a front row seat and there were a lot of hotties dancing right in front of me OK, the results: As explained, this was right down to the wire!!! The voting was actually decided about 10 minutes before I wrote this!!!!! The tally had my little buddy Chris (Volt) up by one vote after I tallied ALL the responses and I said to myself: "Self, lets cut the voting in 15 minutes". Low and behold, someone emails me with 1 minute to go and explains that Chris did NOT take a picture of the area in question and they are switching thier vote from yes to NO now, thus meaning Chris goes from one up for a victory to one down for a loss The worst part of it all is that Chris did not even vote a yes for himself!!! That would have made it a tie and Big Mike would have had to break the tie and of course, I would have voted to give my little buddy the card credit!!!!!!! I am soooooooooooooooooooo sad right now! If you find this sign, you are in the general vacinity! When the sun goes down, the coaster gets lit up. That means that you can catch the sunset The nice part about this park is that it is right on the beach! Peace, Big Mike Just like the dolphin going over the yellow rope, this is a warning to all the affiliate stations that this episode of The Big Mike Road Show 2009 is going to go over its alloted time as well! Be right back! The Dolphin Show! You can also see the coaster at nearby Belmont Park too! You can see the Sky Ride course from up top. The Sky Tower. The last rides at the park are the Sky Tower and the Sky Ride. Both rides are free with your Platinum Pass. The Sky Ride was closed today though. Abby's Sea Star Spin. Elmo's Flying Fish. There are also 3 kiddie rides to enjoy like Oscar's Rocking Eel. ... and part of it is a dry section. Part of it is a water section... Overview. The Bay of Play is for the little kids at the park. This lift is pretty cool as both sides spin and churn the water. Shipwreck Rapids is another ride at the park. I also got to see the polar bears too! This bear was caught praying to be on The Big Mike Road Show! ... the ice wall to cool my head from the beating sun! Big Mike opted for the non motion section, as I just wanted to get straight to what I wanted to see... You can choose what mode of travel you want to take. Another ride at the park is Wild Arctic. In the end, it didn't matter, they all just walked right by me. Big Mike decides to stay where he is so not to scare the pink flamingos, and this flamingo is a bit confused as to why I am in his way. Big Mike decides to have a sit down protest over the Sea Lion show, but the spot he picked is about to be over run by pink flamingos! Shamu is cool, but Big Mike's top show has always been the Sea Lion and Otter Show! Big Mike is heart broken that the show is not scheduled today Big Mike's favorite part, watching all the idiots getting drenched! The answer is Google Streets! They wanted to get Shamu jumping. Yeah, these Platinum seats are pretty good! This is a very nice stadium. Now what do you think this bike is doing at the show and what is it for?? Take a guess, answer coming soon. BIG MIKE HELPFUL HINT - These Platinum seats are opened to the general public 10 minutes before the show, so instead of heading to the boondocks, just wait for these. This picture was taken at the 10 minute mark, lots of great seats to be had! This kind of reminds me of some of the VIP seats I usually sit in. I guess it didn't hurt that "Big Mike" is a Platinum Passholder himself! The stadium is pretty full except for these reserved Platinum Passholders seats, so Big Mike decides to just take a seat there. The main draw to Sea World is the Shamu Show. Credit #761 for Big Mike! Still not that wet even after two trips into the water. The drop finishes up with a splash landing. The 2nd drop. This is the back side of the ride, or the coaster element. You can see a car just coming out of the elevator. Once you have gone down the drop, the course doubles back and brings you up an elevator. Previously mentioned drop. This is the front of the ride and you can see the lift on the left. As soon as you climb the lift, it turns around and sends you down the drop that you can see here in the picture as well. The lift. Dear Chris, That really stinks about The Mikestery Treasure Hunt Card!!! Lets wait and see if someone else already beat you to it. I hope you were looking at the right spot With the outside weather and the fabric of the stroller, it is quite possible it just fell off. I pressed the two sided sticker as hard as I could to make sure it would stick and even went back later in the day to see if it was still stuck there, and it was! Hello Fantastic Friends!!! The next stop on The Big Mike Road Show 2009 is Legoland!!! Legoland has three roller coasters, and adults can ride all 3 of them! I have a park map, but it wound up too big to scan. I hope you enjoy! Peace, Big Mike Clue #5! THERE IT IS!!! It is a little hard to see being yellow and the cover is yellow too, but you can make out the white sticker that holds it in place! GO FIND IT!!!! Hope you enjoyed! Peace, Big Mike Clue #4! You may have to get on your knees to see under the stroller cover! Clue #3! Clue #2! Notice that this is OUTSIDE the park! Big Mike is not going to force his Valuable Big Mike Readers to pay $63 to find the Mikestery Card! Time for another game of Mikestery Treasure Hunt!!! Find the Mikestery card to finish one of the quests to win a one week condo stay! This is clue #1. Big Mike loves Sea Horses! The big difference from other aquariums is this one has lego stuff in the water. Not the best aquarium I have ever been to by far, but I just made my own fun. Kids get a gamecard to play during thier visit, and can win a sticker if they get all the correct answers. A map of the aquarium. Right next door to Legoland is the Sea Life Aquarium, an extra $10 if you get a combo ticket. Yep, there he is! A friend told me to check out Grand Central Station and to look in the basement for a guy going to the bathroom! Even on vacation, I can't get away from those UPS trucks! Hey, that is what I am going to be riding too! Hey, that is where I will be staying at too! Hey, Vegas is where I am heading next! Obama getting sworn in. It is a huge display and very entertaining to look at. Miniland! The drop. The lift. The car. Overview. Technic Coaster! I wanted to sneak in this door to get better pictures, but Big Mike is far from a model citizen. This coaster is very well hidden, so this is all I was able to get. The lift. The Dragon! Hello Fantastic Friends!! I am still waiting for a few pictures to get back to Big Mike World Headquarters from the cool people who helped Big Mike out over the weekend, but I did get some pictures to start a little trip report!!! Thanks to Sue, Dainan, Josh, Matt, Thomas, and Danny for the pictures in this report East Coast Bash was a tremendous success, in terms of people wise! It was a great idea of mine NOT to get any ERT on Kingda Ka and Nitro, as I would have had a lot of unhappy people lol. I counted roughly 30 friends between Theme Park Reviewers, cool Acers, and new friends from Gadv!
